What does one do with altered clothespins and six feet of ribbon?

Hmmm... what if you called it a Christmas Card Clothesline? And bought some little mini (mini MINI) clothespins to pin it to the bag? (Tape or staple, too, in case the mini comes off, but I bet the mini would be cute-- I bought some at Michael's but don't remember what section.) And if you have a display table, set one up for people to see! (And if not, take a picture of yours on your mantle!)

Are you covering your costs at $5 or even $7?

Well, do you think $3 is enough to compensate for your time and to give you profit? If not, maybe $7 really is the way to go. (Sometimes, when I think about these things, I occasionally decide I am not going to factor in the cost of time, just because the alternative is often that I am sitting on the couch watching TV, which pays nothing anyhow.)

If you are concerned that maybe $7 is too high, you could do volume discounts: 1 for $7, 2 for $12. You can also mark them down in the afternoon/second day if the higher price point is unsuccessful.

I also just had an idea pop into my head that you could sell the full set there for whatever price, but maybe you could also sell small sets of 6 additional clothespins for $3 or so?
