Great! Can't wait to see what you come up with. I'll be popping in and out today, so don't forget to leave a link when you post your layout.

Got the bathrooms cleaned and I'm on my second load of laundry. While I'm waiting for the rest of the cleaning crew to rise from the dead, I might as well get started playing along!

Thanks for the fun challenge. It may take me a while though.

Hi...your image is still pending and I think I'll need to see this one to see how it's done. Looks interesting and if I can wade through my spare bedroom (where I've got lots of things stashed at the moment) I might be able to do this. I took a very cute picture of Rufus this week while driving home one day that would make a wonderful page.

I think I've got some mesh bags somewhere that I could use for this but I'm not too sure about the stamp. I didn't usually buy clear stamps...at least not real big ones. Off to hunt for that now.

Help! I can't get my stamps to stick design side down on my blocks!

Wait...think I found one!

Terry, my layout was approved last night, so not sure why it's not showing up! You can also see it on my blog post. Something else occurred to me; you don't necessarily have to use a clear stamp. A rubber stamp that is flat would also do the trick, so look for one that has a large surface area, like a square or rectangle.

Beth, did you get it to work? I just pressed firmly and my stamp stuck fine!

Finally found a large flower that worked! Actually gave a really cool pattern that I like! Very organic looking.

Gotta go to a meeting but I'll be back in a couple of hours, so hopefully you won't have any questions that can't wait! See you all soon.

Thanks Cheryl...I checked out the post and now I understand what you are doing. That mesh vegetable bag will do the trick....and I do have lots of regular rubber stamps with large surfaces. (And I can get to them easily )

I found a stamp I'm going to use and a texture, so I'm off to try this out! Glad you're going to play too, Joyce Ann, Terry and Beth!

Could not find anything but small clear stamps, so I came up with something else. I used one of the foam pad cutouts that came in the Clear Blocks Case - they come out and you nestle your block there instead. I have a sheet I stamped from that. It's drying because I sprayed some Perfect Pearl on top.

Thumbs up Here's Mine

Cheryl, I loved this! I stamped on papertowel for texture and it had the neatest design ... never even realized it before this, LOL

Just got my paper page (yes, again! lol) uploaded. Here it is:

Old Scottsdale (TechVSBN05) by wendella247 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

This was fun and I'm getting some other great ideas for texture from the other ladies' pages! Thanks!
