Stamp-n-Storage is proud to bring you our BIGGEST organizer yet: The Roll Top Desk !
We've been giving you clues and a few of you were guessing correctly on it being a desk, but you couldn't have guessed the attention to detail we've put into this product. The beauty in the roll top is you can easily hide away what you're working on, and then come back to it with all of your items still in place. We went a step further and had the desk built out of solid oak, right here in the USA. Many of the organizers that you know and love from our product line have been sized to fit this beautiful piece of furniture. With this Roll Top Desk, Stamp-n-Storage is stepping up your space and giving you an heirloom quality piece that you can enjoy every time you sit down to craft.
Please check out our website and browse the pages of information and video we've provided for you on our latest organizer.
What do you think? We're very excited about this new product and we can't wait to hear your reaction.
It is a beautiful piece of "crafting" furniture- I would love to fill every little nook and cranny!! lots of good storage (but I wonder if it is BIG enough!! LOL!)
I never thought a desk like this would appeal to me, but it looks like you've thought of everything! Coming from Stamp 'n Storage, there's no question that it's of excellent quality as well. Beautiful.
All of your comments are so very generous - thank you! We're excited to share this with you.
Suzilou - We knew this would be a "tease" to our MANY Canadian and Australian customers. Sorry for that! For now the cost and complexity of exporting an item this large limits it to the 48 United States.
Gorgeous piece of furniture and great storage. If you've ever tried to work at a roll-top desk, however, you'll find they aren't very practical. I've had one for years as part of the decorations in a Victorian home. Had planned to use it for bill paying and other "desk-required" tasks. Not enough lighting and the little cubbies over the pull out desk top really limit space. I don't mean this to sound too negative, just a reality I ran into. It still LOOKS nice and stores a great amount of paper!
Pretty Desk! If I ever considered creating an upstairs annex to my stamp room, this would be something I would consider. Unfortunately, all the furniture in my stamp room is white. Or white with purple accents.

Oh my goodness! This is so much like the roll top desk I work from that I'm almost CERTAIN Stamp n Storage has partnered with Winners Only, the maker of my roll top computer desk that I purchased almost 12 years ago.
If that's the case, then anyone who orders can be assured of lovely quality and attention to detail. The funniest part is that I have been telling my husband that I would like to order a custom made ink pad/ ink refill/marker holder from Stamp n Storage to fit under the roll top to make my desk the perfect stamping spot!
My desk is a little bigger, measuring 57" wide by 51" tall. Despite what another poster said about her roll top (which is an antique) I have found mine to be the best stamping desk I've found in just over 20 years of stamping. I keep my markers in almost the same spot, and the position of their ink pad compartment is exactly where I'd like mine to be. I've found the various slots and cubbies hold all sorts of things like my Stamp N Scrub, paper piercing kit, adhesives, blender pens, handles for my stamp rollers, Exacto knives, crimper, heat embossing gun, and much more. In other words, I am surrounded by my tools with my desk and I have quick and easy access to nearly everything without even having to leave my chair. With the design of the desk shown you would probably be able to slide a paper cutter and a scoring board in the space under the ink holder. Wow!
One addition I have that Stamp n Store might like to consider is making matching file cabinets available for people with lots of paper and card stock like me. I have a two drawer one from Winners Only that I bought with the desk and it is fabulous. I have hanging file folders of at least one pack of every current color of SU card stock in it along with some retired too.
Finally, I'd like to say that it was a little dim working at the desk but that problem was easily solved with a plug-in under cabinet strip style light that I saw in an ad here on SCS. Works like a charm.
To anyone considering this desk...I'm sure you will LOVE IT!
I think the desk is beautiful , but the price would be prohibitive for me (senior on fixed income). I also don't think it would hold everything I have, but, as one person suggested, matching file cabinets would help a lot. Maybe they could also include an opening in the back of the desk to allow a lamp cord to come through.
Hubby just walked through the door, gonna make him watch the video with me!!!!
I! WANT! THIS!!!!! (yes a bit of Veronica from Willy Wonka in there)... ;)
OK He watched it... now to bombard his email with links to the site! Last time I did this it was for Copics and it REALLY ruined my dash n stash of those as he apparently DOES pay attention and said is that how much those things cost??? Well, being a Carpenter he will appreciate the work that has gone into this and the hopes of me not asking HIM to build it...pffft, HAHAHAH I made myself giggle over that!!! What's that story about the cobblers kids???
LOVE this! I have all oak furniture so it would blend right in (a lot of custom pieces). I have the perfect corner in the living room and would love to incorporate it into the room. It fits all the basics. I have a dedicated closet nearby so it would work. I MISSED the sale in September because I was gone! I'm soooo bummed. Any chance they'd extend into October for the split coast members? hint hint PLEASE.
Ok...I have good news for you! DO NOT be bummed! You didn't miss anything! Mostly because the desk was excluded from the discount. BUT...I've got your back, sistah...what about an INSTALLMENT PAYMENT PLAN!! Yessss! Wait...that may have just been ME getting MY OWN back! What were we talking about again?
