TLC445 ~ Revisit TLC133 With a Twist ~ (9/02/13)
Hello everyone!!! I hope you had a fantastic weekend...it's going to get even better for some of you because tomorrow is Labor Day...whoohoo!!! If I don't see your card till noon, I'll know you slept in...LOL!!! Anyway....
It's my turn to host the TLC this week and before we get to the challenge.....Judy and I have some exciting news!! We are going to add some awesome designers to our little DT group....however, you will have to wait one more week to find out who they are!! I know, I am such a tease....LOL!!! You will have to wait till next week and then Judy will fill you in on all the details!!!!
I do have something I can tell you, though....Judy and I will be revisiting an old TLC once a month. We could be following the challenge as it's written or changing things up just a little and September is my month....Whoohoo!!!! Soooooo....
We are going to revisit TLC133...Make a Little Gamsol Magic. I am going to put a twist on the challenge, though. Here are the deets:
1. You can use Gamsol or Baby Oil with your colored pencils
2. Don't have colored pencils?? You can use any markers you want....I'm easy!!!!
3. You can use Stampin Up! markers, Distress Markers, Copics, Promarkers....what ever you have to color something fabulous!!!
How fun is that!!!!!
Here is my Sample
You are Truly a Blessing
Remember when uploading to use keyword TLC445 (no spaces)
You can view the entire TLC445 Gallery here !!
Have Fun!!!

I pulled out my Sansodor - normally I stick with a blending pencil if I go down the blending road at all. No doubt the OMS gives a smooth finish, though .
Thanks for a fun challenge, Joan.

Hi Girls!
Do we need to use black Stazon ink to work with Gamsol? Does it work with other black ink too?
I think I will try this next week end but I just want to know...

I love using pencils and Gamsol (or odorless mineral spirits). This is the first card I've done for a challenge and uploaded in several months (since June 16th!)
Sunning on Sun Flowers
Glad to be back, but I'm going to have to pace myself. I was trying to do too many challenges previously and kinda overwhelmed myself. I think the creative side of my brain blew up! I am four months behind on my Christmas cards for CCC13. I'll try to catch up on those first.
Actually, I've still been creative. The tatting bug bit me after years of not doing any tatting. Now all I want to do is tat!

I made this card for the VSN Battle of the Sexes challenge last week, but I used TLC445 for the technique.
