Scrappin' Challenge 2013

Can you believe this is our 5th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2012 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2013! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2013! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.

*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

I just counted mine and for ytd my total is 62. Not as many as I would like but I have done other projects and cards.

I'll be in for 20 this month. I have a crop coming up at the end of the month, in fact I will have just one day to get my layouts posted before the end of the month.........yikes. Maybe just 5 for the beginning of the month then 15 for the last three days of the month. Still, 20 for September.

We have no plans other than scrapping and hanging out in the AC. I see my kids and grand kids every day so having the house and PC all to myself on weekends is sweet!

I made my August goal of 8 so that a total of 42 pages YTD. I'll go for 8 again this month. My signature is updated!

Put me down for 10 pages this month please. I'm pretty determined! I don't know if I've hit or passed a goal since March? Bah....busy year!!

I did this dps for the Sept. sketch challenge on Cheryl's Blog "Even More Scrapping." I was picked as the September sketch guest designer! The pages are from our little visit to Carefree & Cave Creek, AZ last month.

I finally went back and counted all the pages I did and updated my signature. YTD I am at 113 pages. The only 1 that I did in August was not of my oldest dd HS stuff! I finally was able to get back into it and get working on my other 2 kiddos school stuff. My goal for this month is to get them caught up and current!
July I did no scrapping, but I did clean up the Iphoto so that is all nice and neat and organized. I went from almost 16,000 pics to 11,000! I merged, unmerged, named, renamed, dated, deleted & did the happy dance! That was a big job! August I made 5 name frames 3 gifts 2 requests! I haven't made them in a long time so that was fun!

Anyway hopefully now that we are somewhat settled down into a routine I can get some scrapping time back and catch up here a little!

Hey Dell, I am at 62 YTD as well! But not for long. I am doing a LOAD challenge this month, so I hope to complete 30 layouts. Is that even possible with my crazy schedule? Don't know, but I'm gonna try. Off to work on today's layout.

I need to take Cheryl's lead and do a LOAD Challenge this month! The fun summer photos are all sorted ready to be scrapped and put in albums. I know Oct will be busy-busy for work (hey Wendy, coming back to AZ) and [GASP!] I still have last Christmas to finish. For some reason, I'm not "good" with scrapping Christmas if I don't do it right away

So....my goal for this month is going to be 30! Now I better go get busy

Here is page I did for Cheryl's sketch on her Blog. Don't know how to link it, though to her Blog. I click on link and follow directions, but won't do it. Any help, you that are more in the know on computers? Took me long enough how to do it on SCS! LOL

Oh, you will have a blast doing LOAD. I did that last year and had so much fun with it. I saw Lain's email about it but I am getting into my busy season at work and decided to opt out for now. Let me know how it goes for you.

Question for ya'll....am I the only one who has favourite photos that you could scrapbook over and over into different layouts depending on your thoughts about the photo that day??
