Smile Still a Newbie

I have been a member for awhile but never have posted a thread. I have found interesting information and thought I would start again. Lately I have been considering becoming a SU demonstrator. I do not know any SU demonstrators and not sure if its the direction to go. Can anyone give me any suggestions or advice on becoming a SU Demonstrator. Your thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! I have known people who have become SU! demonstrators so as to take advantage of the discounts on SU! products, and have subsequently given up because there was more work involved than they expected. I also know that my own rep is dedicated to SU! products and enjoys getting people involved in card making and so has been happy in this role for several years. My advice to you is to be very clear WHY you want to be a demonstrator.

Thank you for the warm welcome and the good advice. I do need to be sure I understand why I want to be a demonstrator and probably try and connect with a current demonstrator to learn more about the program and what all is involved. Again, thanks for the responding and giving me something to think about!

Hi Pjay. I am what is known as a hobby demonstrator. Mostly I buy my own products to meed minimums, but I hold Stamp a Stacks and regular stamping sessions to generate extra income. You really have nothing to lose by becoming a demonstrator. If it doesn't work out for you, you will go into pending and ultimately be dropped. But if you do make a go of it, even as a hobbyist, you will have a ton of fun. And get a discount! The support on this site is amazing. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

What is stamp a stack? Don't know that I have ever heard the turn. Are you a stampin up demonstrator that does it for the product discount?
