Happy Tuesday and welcome to this week's color challenge. It's #440 on the charts for us. I am your hostess this week and decided to do something a little different.
Since I love working with bold colors, I am choosing 5 colors and you can pick 3 to work with or use all 5 of them. Just let us know which 3 you have chosen.
Are you ready for a strawberry pie at a delightful island party?
the colors for cc440
Strawberry Slush
Pumpkin Pie
Daffodil Delight
Island Indigo
Pool Party
Dessert: Use a geometric shape for instance: a hexagon or the modern mosaic punches, or you could use a triangle, or a chevron. There are lots of dies out there.
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list Stampin-Up colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC440 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here
GREAT colors Mary!! Nice to be left with a choice too!! I skipped dessert when I just could not incorporate the chevron ribbon onto my card....it was just not having it!! ;( GREAT challenge!! Here's my card:
Just love this "new to me" stamp from PSX- worked so well for today's challenge- Thanks Mary for the choices! I used orange, magenta and light green, and added some frilly lace and bright fabric. Here's Take Yourself Lightly

Mary- had to do another card, this time celebrating ice cream - used hot pink, yellow, orange, and seafoam green for my colors. Just some hand cutting, coloring and a fabric band (pajama waistband, repurposed!) Here's Sweet Celebration

I used a really old stamp set to go with a new sentiment and though it looks like I cheated, I only used today's colors, but mixed some colors together by scribbling marker onto acetate to add some brown and green tones. Every Season

I love these colors...and I was able to use all FIVE! I chose the "similar to SU!", as I don't have ANY Strawberry Slush. I also did the dessert option with hexagons and triangles!
Here's my card Beach Babe for the Colour Challenge. My jaw dropped when I saw the colours (thanks Mary) but then my competative urge took over, and I just had to try it!
Hello everyone
I haven't use Stampin'UP ink because of the reason in the description under my photo, but I was happy to be able to partecipate anyway!
Here is my entry! Hope you will like it!
I created mine Tuesday but had to wait to upload until today. The twisted easel caused me a little more trouble than I bargained for. Fun color challenge!
My 2nd card for this weeks CC440. I just LOVE all the colors Mary. I used them all when coloring my main image for tomorrow's CAS235, which I hosted and started tonight for Denise. Enjoy, Nancy
