I have some at at home; I'm not positive of the brand, but I think they are EK Success. I bought them several years ago in a set (4 or 5, all pastel colors). Not 100% certain they are the same as SU!, though, or whether they even still make them.
Is it erasable? I bought a really cute door hanger that is chalk board. I'm looking for pen-style chalk to add to it for a gift. If you have any ideas, I'm open.

Oh sorry, I'd look for Marvy Bistro Water-based Chalk Markers. They are sold at office supply stores or online.
I worked at Archivers and used the Marvy chalk markers on the chalkboards there. I used water and a paper towel to erase. Markers came from Staples in a pack of 4 or 5--blue, pink, yellow, green, and white.
Marvy Uchida makes chalk markers and theres another company, too. I finally saw them last week at ACmoore, 4 to a pack for about $12-14 if I remember correctly. They're 6mm bullet tip, so not a fine writer, but not as big as the chisel dri-erase markers either.

Now, I have had this set for at least 5 years; I have no idea if they are like the one SU carries, because I haven't used that one. I can tell you that these are not eraseable. It's like they took the ink from chalk stamp pads and put it into a marker.
I have a SU Chalk Writer and have used it comparing it to the white marker I already have and I cannot find a difference between the Stampin Up Chalk Writer and the Recollections Opaque Marker in Snow. The number on it is #191470 This is a medium point. They also come in Bullet point.
Recollections is the Micheal's brand and I paid $1.25 for this marker without a coupon.
I rarely use the coupons anymore because everything I ever want to spend it on is always not allowed on the coupons! I want to use them on Sizzix dies, Spellbinders, Alterations, etc. But they never let me do it.
I hope this helps.
I was at Michael's yesterday and noticed that all the Recollections markers were on clearance. I'm making gifts to use the chalk markers with, so I need to get over there and see what i can pick up. Thanks for the heads up that these will wipe off like the chalk markers.
I got my markers today and they're great. They were $4.25 + $1.95 shipping for 4 markers so approx. $1.50 per marker delivered. These are not eraseable.

I was at Michael's last week with MIL and noticed the Recollections Opaque markers - many of the colored markers were on clearance, but the Snow (white) markers were $1.99, so picked one up and used my 40% off marker.
I hope it lasts for a bit since it seems that Michael's may have had these for a while. I tested one to see if the ink still ran well and it did. Hopefully it will last a year or two!
