AUGUST PROGRESSIVE CHALLENGE 15 - TASK #1 (08/06/13)
Hey Everyone!!  I'm giving Wendy a little break this month from hosting the Progressive Challenge. I hope I do as good of a job as she always does!
Everyone is welcome to join the fun - traditional, hybrid and digital scrapbookers! I decided to use the Summer Possibilities Digital Kit from SU for this one, and to use one of my favorite layouts that showcases lots of photos - perfect for summer photos that we all have lots of! I tried hard to take lots of vacation photos, but I have to admit I didn't take nearly as many as I usually do. I have a lot of iPhoto pics, and I think this layout will be great for them!
For Task #1, layer 3 Papers - can be a mix of solids and patterns, or can be all patterns like I've used.
Add in a "film strip" of photos, and one larger focal point photo. Add shadows to all. That's it this week!

Yep...looks like the start of a fun challenge. I'm still not sure I'll have time to work on it though...got one more week before we leave for vacation and gots lots of appts and stuff to do before we go....

Well, I decided to just make a stab at this...at least for week #1! It probably took longer to find a template to work with than it did to place the papers and move the line of picture templates.
Week Number 1
Now hopefully it won't be like the last several months when I started one and never seemed to go back to finish it
It's storming here so I guess I better shut everything down and go to bed. DH gets annoyed when the weather radio goes off cause he can't figure out how to shut it off and it's sure to go off with severe storms in the area! __________________

Great start everyone!! Diane - totally fine for you to add your photos already. You're like me when I do these progressive things...hard to stop at one spot or another! Sign of a good challenge when you're already moving ahead with thoughts of where you want it to go next! ;)

here's mine.
I have a hard time with multiply photos. to me they are so hard to see. when these kids get old they will have to look at these with their "spy glass" as my mom calls it!
I am still using the crap out of this flea market kit.

Great start. post number 1 says it all. each week there will be more tasks to do...once you have done them you post the picture...the next week the same thing. at the end of the month you have a completed page....hence the name progressive...it is quite alot of fun...it stretches your scrapbooking imagination __________________

Cori... There are usually 4 Tasks to a Progressive Challenge (so each month you will have completed a page). Each task is posted on Tuesdays (usually). Yes, you post your page after each task is complete. Thanks for trying out this month's progressive challenge. |
