Im posting this card, yes very early I know but I made it for the Faux Patina challenge but will be using it for this month for my BIL who will be 65.
Jan I like your card. I am making a 60 for my BIL. Wished I had made it back in Feb! I am turning ideas over in my head right now for it.
Here are 4 cards for this month so far.
I need to make a sympathy card but didin't feel either one of the two above would work for sympathy cards. I have several more birthday cards to make for august.
Sharon I've made quite a few sixtieth cards this year and still have three more to make believe it or not, I've made one as a piano and I'm quite pleased with it, my friend who it's for got up at a function and sang with the band as a joke and said her stage name is Susan! so I thought it was quite apt. I will post it in my gallery this afternoon, it might be an idea for you.
I've been missing in action on this thread! I think I was supposed to post a challenge for July and missed doing so, due to Vacation Bible School and then my son's visit (6 visitors all together!) for two weeks.
I can't find a challenge for the beginning of this month either, but I know Sherri is really busy right now. I will wait for a few days and post a challenge for the middle of the month.
I have kept up with my cards for this past month and have used one card for this month already, but I have used them out of my stash.

I think most people have been missing, it's been very quiet.
Did you have a good holiday Ina with your family.
We had a fantastic time, but it sure was busy .......from being alone in the house, to 7 people in a three bedroom home! We had our hot weather in July and it turned considerable cooler for the entire time they were here. Mostly in the low 70's, while it was around 100 degrees back in Texas.

You are welcome Sharon. I've been on the computer today because I am procrastinating. I need to make a memory book for my neighbour. He's been the regional director of the Optimist club here in Ontario and his term finishes at the end of the week. He wants a memory book for 15 Optimists who have passed away in the past year. I have very little information on these people, mostly just the funeral cards. Only a few of them tell a bit about their lives, most of them just have a list of survivors and the direction for donations. So it's going to be very generic and I will leave the facing page for journaling, so people who know them can add something.
I did manage to make 10 photo cards and a mini pizza box to hold them.

Sheri, please help me keep learning about SCS. Is the all occasion challenge something we upload to by the month? Is that how it is separated out? I made an anniversary card and will try to upload, so please correct me if I am wrong.
