Default Dylusions versus Distress ink and pad

HI
I'm wondering how the Dylusions inks are different than the Distress Inks, aside from the spray/pad and vibrant colors. For example, they just came out with a blank stamp pad that can be inked and rinsed clean. I wonder if you could use Distress re-inkers? tattered angel sprays for the glittery look?

Both DYlusions and Distress seem to be water blendable, so perhaps the forumulations are the same, just a difference in the intensity of color and dispensing.

I'm thinking of buying the stamp pad and one ink and seeing how it goes. If you have any experiences with Dylusions, I'd love to hear about them.

Thoughts? Thanks,

mob

Actually, watching those videos is part of what prompted my interest and questions.

Sorry, I didn't understand your question. If you want to stamp with Distress Ink, why not just buy a DI ink pad. The Dylusion pad is so you can stamp with Dy's sprays. There are other uses, of course.

I have lots of the distress ink pads, but i'm wonder if i wanted to do the blending with dylusions would it work and rinse out. I could use the disress re-inkers with the spray dylusion for a mix of muted with bright tones. Could I do the same with Tattered Angels glimmer sprays for another effect? It would be cool if the formulations are similar enough to be able to mix for different effects.

I would love to hear how it worked out with the distress inks or other sprays!
