Default Double Adhesive Paper for die cuts?

Because double-stick paper is kind of pricey, I thought I'd ask if you have had success with a brand of double-stick paper you use to make stickers out of your die-cuts? The brand I'm using doesn't have enough adhesive and is difficult for the Big Shot to cut through. I'd love to be able to avoid the expense of experimenting with different brands if you know of one that works.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Bahb

I'm not sure whether it translates across the Pond - I get tape sheets in my local 1 store that are 151 brand. I guess they're about 4" by 10" and there are six per pack so it's not especially spendy. It die cuts fine with Nestability-type dies in my Big Shot and has enough "grab" for glitter - I'm not sure what you're trying to stick.

Anyway, I guess even if the 151 brand doesn't appear in your stores, it's worth checking your dollar store to see whether there's anything you could try since that's minimal outlay if it doesn't work out! Over here it's located with the DIY-type stuff rather than craft/stationery.

Sorry, just realised my brain is not properly engaged yet this morning! You want to stick the adhesive on paper/cardstock before die cutting don't you? I do that with the 151 sheets too - works fine!

Hi Joanne, I need to ask- which pound store do you have near you? We have a Poundland, and a 99p store, I've checked both and down here neither has the 151 brand sheets- or any brand for that matter! I need to know what store to look out for when I'm out somewhere else, lol. Thanks in advance.

I've been thinking about ordering some label sheets. I found these on Amazon. Looks like a really good deal - you get 100 full size, 8-1/2" x 11" sheets for only $13.99.

Amazon.com: 100 Universal Labels - Full Page Shipping Labels - Heavyweight label that will works in all Laser & Inkjet Printers, 8.5" x 11" Inch Label, Vertically Slitted on Back for Easy Peeling - Matte White - 100 sheets: Office Products

I guess I need coffee, too. I just re-read that the OP is looking for double-stick paper. What I found is not that. Sorry.

The one that has the tape sheets is an "unbranded" shop unfortunately Shaz! I've heard that it is part of a national operation (gets better buying power, I guess, even if there's no branding) but you'd never know to look at it so I'm afraid I don't have details I can pass on.

You could always run your paper through a xyron machine before using your dies to cut it. That way you have the full back of the paper covered with adhesive.
