Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending August 4, 2013
Hello and Happy Sunday! Hope that your summer is going well and that you have enough time to finish doing all of the fun things that you have planned before the autumn routine sets in. Goodness, the galleries were alive with creativity this week. Thanks so much to the DTGD Hostesses for their challenges to get everyone's mojo into high gear. Need help linking yourFavorites ? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

Marie is so right saying that there are so many wonderful cards this week. Lots of them are for the Dare to Get Dirty challenges so people have been really inspired by those challenges. Many thanks to all the hostesses!

Thank you for mentioning my CAS card! I have been having such a fabulous time playing in the Dare to Get a Dirty Callanges and this was such a bonus to be mentioned here!
Susan, thanks for mentioning my Christmas Card here I have to say that particular card was a real challenge to me in my head before I made it so, It's an honor to be mentioned here. I always think I am always one lump too many to be true CAS haha.

Thank you Marie for mentioning my Simply Love card and Thank you Susan for mentioning my Vintage Christmas card this week.... It has been a tough challenge week and I really appreciate it....
If the number of cards I added to my favorites this week is any indication, DTGD13 was a huge success! Only wish I had more time to check out the gallery and to be able to play along.
Here are some of my CAS favorites from the week: Smile - Circle Flowers by AZShann (this one, by a new-to-me stamper reminded me of Mary Englebright colors and style)
Swallowtail by hobbydujour (I'm not a huge green fan, but wow! this shades of green card is stunning!)
The Sun by ellentaylor (This card just makes me grin!)
New Mercies by T. Joy (Another sunshine card, but this one makes me smile on the inside)
Thinking of You by stampinandrea (Love the colored pencil look on the kraft c/s and the pretty paper piercing)
Queen Loll Dreams by nancy littrell (The apothecary label window shape really grabbed my attention on this beauty)
Happy Summer by Loll Thompson (This one is so perfect I could taste the watermelon just looking at it!)
Wish Big by TreasureOiler (polka dots, glitter, girlie colors -- what's not to love?)
Thinking of You by HamiltonGal (I wanted to just drop everything and CASE this one when I saw it)

Thanks to Marie, Susie, Debbie and Susan for including my cards in their favorites this week. The gallery always has amazing cards each week, but this week has been exceptional with all the wonderful challenges from the DTGD Team. Thanks to everyone that worked so hard to bring this fun challenge week together.
Thank you, sweet Loll, for including my "Get Your (Birthday) Party On" card on your favorites list. I'm always honored when one of my cards makes someone's list, but this week it is an extra special joy because, as you said, DTGD challenges really filled the gallery with an exceptional number of wonderful pieces of artwork.
Extra thanks to Karen as well for letting me know. I'm sure you have had a truckload of notifications to make this week.
Thank you Loll for including my card in your list of favorites! It has been a crazy week of cardmaking, I finished all 42 of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges. Now to clean up the mess!
Thanks for the lovely gallery this week! Much as I was occupied with my grandkids this week, I still found some lovely creations...and you are pointing out more that I missed.
