12x12 paper holder which is best?

I'm going to sort out all my dp and had decided on some cropper hoppers paper holders
New! Paper Holder

with these which fit inside nicely for the scraps
New! Paper File


buuuuut now I'm wondering if I'd be better off just getting a couple of these instead
Projections Paper Holder



Any thoughts?

Do you have this type of storage, and does it work for you?

Personally, I have the metal cubes that you can buy from Target. They are square and flat pieces that you put together yourself in any configuration. I made squares with 5 of them leaving the front open. Then using wire or bag ties I took another "panel" and made a shelf by wiring each corner. You can figure out the spacing between each shelf based on how many sheets of paper you want to store on them. One set can make about four sections with shelves. You can put a sturdy piece of cardboard on each shelf to keep the bottom paper from getting dented, ripped, or damaged.

For a portable storage, I have the black Cropper Hopper with expandable/collapseable sections. It is on wheels with a handle, but unfortunately it is not made anymore. I have seen them in online auctions though.

I have the Advantus Cropper Hopper Easy Access Paper Holder, Black and am happy with how I can store my 12 x 12 papers.

I used the Cropper Hopper Paper Storage (1st link) for years. It was perfect when I had very little space to work with. I could easily see and get to the paper. I now use a paper rack from a local store that went out of business years ago. The 3rd link you posted is nice as well but between the 2, I like the first one. Cropper Hoppers fits into the jetmax/recollections cubes from Ms, as well as comfortably in the space of Ikea expedit shelving units.

I use the Art Bin containers to store my 12x12 paper in. I have one for Christmas, Halloween and Fall and one for the paper I use in the kids scrapbooks. I store these on a shelf in my craft room. I can't leave paper out, my cats love to eat the corners of any unprotected paper.

I use a steel bin I found at Lowes to hold my 12x12 paper. It holds a lot and I have tabbed sheets dividing each company and collection line. I love that I am able to see it, because with me if its out of sight its out of mind

Thanks everyone for your replies, lots of interesting new ideas for me.

I want to be able to see it all as if it's tucked away somewhere in a drawer out of sight I just forget what I have.

I use something similar to these from Artbin...I have one for Blue, Green, Yellow, Neutrals, Black/White, Pink, Red, Purple and yes I have a paper addiction lol!

I also use these. DH is going to build me a wood frame so I can store them the way I would drawers.

I like my paper stored on its edge rather than flat. This lets me flip thru it. I use the Cropper Hoppers for patterned paper. I have a Jetmax filing cube that I use for my 12 x 12 cardstock. I really like the look of the 2nd link. I'm needing to reorganize a but will definitely have to keep my paper on edge (I ruin too many sheets when its flat). While my craft room is supervised by my cats, they leave the paper alone. I can sympathize with kaspring though because ribbon is the item that HAS to be contained or it is eaten. :(

I hope you don't mind if I chime in but I store my 12x12 paper in the paper rack. And I love it. It is more expensive than the other great suggestions above but just thought I would pass this option idea on. Scrapbooking furniture and paper storage

I use the cropper hopper paper holders to store my cardstock and pp, and I use the paper files to store my scraps. It's a great system!!!
