I'm like a little kid at Christmas and counting down the sleeps until it gets here. The shipping advice I got from KNK was that it will be here sometime between today and Thursday. I'm so excited I don't know what I'm going to make first. I may have to leave it alone for a day or two just to calm down.
I'm so excited for you! I've been wanting one for awhile. I got a cameo since I already had the silhouette SD for years and thousands of images in my software. If I was able to use Zing with the silhouette software I would have gotten it instead. I still may get a Zing in the future since there are thicker/Denser medias I want to be able to cut.
oh please let me know how you like it. I am on the fence about buying it.... I see so many people using the Silhouette for everything... even on-line classes... but, I've been holding out for the Zing....
I was hoping the FedEx guy that came yesterday was my Zing, but it was some stupid cell phone stuff my husband ordered to fix his buttons. It didn't come today either. I hope it makes it here tomorrow. I can't contain myself...
Ok, I'm reeeeaaalllyyy disappointed. My Zing was supposed to be here by today and it didn't come. I just tried to go online to track it, but the website its not available right now. It better get here tomorrow or I'm going to be mad! I think 10 days to get here from California (I think) is plenty of time. I think it probably went by way of Australia or something...
I feel your frustration, LOL! It sucks feeling let down each day when you are anxiously waiting for something to arrive. That's why I always select UPS as a shipping option if the company offers it. Their tracking info actually gives a delivery date and it's always accurate.
The tracking says its here in the city but there was a "mechanical delay", so I'm assuming that means their truck broke down. :( I hope its delivered Monday. Its actually a good thing I won't have it this weekend. I have a ton of stuff to do that I wouldn't do if it was here...

Actually, I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. :( I've been busy trying to configure my new online store, but I'm really rusty at programming, so its taking forever, and I keep making mistakes. I'm hoping that I will have a chance tomorrow. I haven't found a good place to set it up yet. My desk area I thought I could use isn't big enough, so I have to do some more re-arranging.
OK Cat... how is the Zing going.... I'm wondering if I should dive in or go with the Silhouette Cameo... There just seems to be so many more classes and things online for the Silhouette.... but I heard you could cut more with the zing.... so I'm waiting to hear the good news.....lol..lol hope it is going well for you....

I'm embarrased to say that I have been too busy to even try cutting with it. I've been playing around with the software a little bit in the evening, but that's it. I feel really guilty since it was so expensive and I haven't even turned it on yet. All I have left is to do my apples (canning applesauce and making pies) and then I can take a break...

Well gardens don't wait. You have to can when the garden tells you to do it! The Zing will be there when you are ready, don't feel guilty about having it primed and ready to go when you are ready.
My new Zing should be here any day now!!!
