Banner "Words" advice needed

Hey everyone, I need some stampers to brainstorm with me!

I'm going visiting back home next weekend, and am making a banner similar to THIS for my Mom. I'm hoping she'll hang it on her fireplace mantle, and I want it to say "welcome" as it's near the door where most everyone comes in when they visit her house. I also want it to just fit in with her decor, and not be holiday-specific or seasonal.


I also want to make one for my 80+ year old favorite aunt who we'll be visiting. I don't have a clue where she might be able to hang it, so I don't necessarily want to do "welcome" for her banner, plus I was wanting to make hers a little bit smaller. Any thoughts on other words I can use? I don't want hers to be seasonal or holiday-specific either, so something more generic for "every day" is what I'm aiming for. Any thoughts?

The banner was one I made when I was part of the Dirty Dozen, so if you don't have a Fan Club membership, you wouldn't be able to view it. Sorry... didn't think about that! Here's another one I made recently, but I plan for the ones I'm making now to be bigger than this.

My aunt always loved cooking and sewing, but her eyesight now is too bad for either, anymore. I thought about seeing if I had some good cooking-themed stamps, and I could just make a 5-piece banner with cooking images instead. My friend Bar made this one with a nautical theme, so maybe I'll go that direction?

Oh they're all lovely. I like the idea of personalizing it to her favourite things. All the words that Arlene provided are wonderful to. Love to see what you end up deciding on.

I made one that says "Thankful" but it is kind of fallish. But I like it as it reminds to be thankful of my blessings.

Combination sewing and cooking banner with SEW SWEET.

I love the nautical banner because that's my thing but the Spring banner is very happy to look at!

How about the word Love, and then a heart to make 5 flags on the banner (since an odd number often looks better)?
