Happy 4th of July! It being a very busy day for many, we will keep the challenge simple. Since some of us our celebrating the birthday of our country, I thought it would be fun to do a little trivia. Let's make a card about our state, providence or country flower. Here is a site that names them. List of U.S. state flowers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
If you don't have an image of that flower, use it's color on your card. Name the flower and what state, providence or country it represents. It will be our geography lesson for the day. Have fun, and I hope you will find time to join in the challenge. Wisconsin's flower is the woodland violet.
Remember to use the keyword WT434 when uploading your card. Gallery Submissions

, I'm so glad that at last I had only just added a shamrock stamp to my collection last week. WT434 Shamrocks and Forty Shades of Green
I'm looking forward to learning some new flowers this week, too!! What a fun challenge, Linda. I think the only US State flower I know for sure is Bluebonnets for Texas.
Great fun challenge, Linda - my youngest son is currently over there in the US and spending 2 months in Connecticut so I guess that is where I will start! Look forward to making my card!

Fun challenge Linda! You had me hopping this morning trying to find a Lady Slipper image OK..card done..I'm off to make my salad for this afternoon's cookout!
I made a card with our provincial flower, a trillium. However, I left both my cameras at my daughter's place in the city on Tuesday (an hour and 3/4 away) so I will have to post a photo later.

The state flower for IL is the violet. I chose three shades of Ranger di purple to represent the color on my card, which is for both the WT and MMTPT257 challenges.
I am a native Oregonian and have always loved our State Flower, the Oregon Grape. It has holly like leaves, pretty clusters of yellow flowers and in the fall blue berries. It is found in our beautiful forests.
I used the colors and made a similar little yellow flower. Also...these are our U 0f O Duck colors :p Enjoy and thanks Linda for a fun challenge.
