Here is a tutorial for a gatefold easel card with a template, too:

You are so welcome. I've gotten lots of help from people on this great forum, and I do try to pass it on!

That's a really neat card, by the way. Be sure and post yours when you're done.

It actually explains on the fb page how to make it

Quote:
Roberta it's easy, just an easel card made in the normal way and stuck down onto a gatefold card.
The gatefold card is 10 x 5 inches and the easel is 5 x 5 inches, trimmed down a little to fit within the base of the gatefold. I actually stuck the two cards together before I started to decorate them.
When making the easel part remember not to make the topper and stopper too high otherwise the gatefold won't close.
Hope this makes sense! x

Default Gatefold Easel card

Actually the tutorial shows how to use only one sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock to make the card. Much better weight than two sheets of cardstock, especially when mailing!
