I have been a "lurker" for some time, a member for a couple of months, and this is my first post.

I have lived in the Dallas area all my life. I retired from teaching 3 years ago and now teach part time in a private school. Ten months ago I became a grandmother, "Mimi," to adorable identical twin boys.

I have been scrapbooking for about 20 years. Four years ago I started making cards because I couldn't stand paying the price of greeting cards. I also enjoy sewing and photography. Basically, I just enjoy making things.

Hello all
I'm from the great state of Texas as well but I recently moved to Pennsylvania. I just started crafting a few months ago so I'm a newbie but I enjoy it very much so I try to do it often between going to school full time, and managing a family of 4 I was introduced to SCS by a crafting friend & I've learned tons already! I hope to learn a lot more!!
