2013 Cards for A Cause JUNE MISSION Stamp from the Heart!
ORGANIZATION BEING FEATURED: Community Pregnancy Center
Description of Organization:Community Pregnancy Center was begun in 1989 by two women passionate in their efforts to save women and babies from the devastation of abortion. Those efforts included not only being there to offer a listening ear, a calming influence, and a ray of hope, but also as a companion for the journey and support after birth. These goals continue.
We have a small staff of three and rely heavily on the loving hearts of our volunteers who have been called to this ministry. In our 22 years of ministry, CPC has touched thousands of families! We are blessed to be a voice of hope, encouraging young people to embrace their dignity as the daughters and sons of God and to live chastely in their current state of life, whether in singleness or marriage, and to shine light on the sacredness of every gift of life bestowed by God.

TYPE OF CARDS REQUESTED: Baby (for the new moms), Thank You (for the donors), Birthday (for clients & volunteers), and praying for you cards work too. Basically anything....but what they usually ask for most is Thank You's and Baby cards.Blank on the inside. Also, if possible please include envelopes.
SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS: Faith based are ok.

This is only optional and you do not have to play along to still send your cards to the featured cause for the month. We always take cards no matter if you play along in the challenge or not. Here is a card I made for the baby challenge, this month. I cannot wait to see how we share with The Pregnancy Center this month! Thank you to all who give! {{{hugs}}}
Hi! I'm so excited that the Community Pregnancy Center will be blessed this month with lovely cards!! I just received the volunteer newsletter and wanted to share a bit from the Director's column:
Amazing how time flies - it goes so quickly, you hardly think you could have accomplished much. So, I'm here to tell you - you've accomplished much! This year so far, we have welcomed 132 new client families, 81 new babies, mentored over 500 client appointments - overall, giving assistance in one form or another to over 370 client families
Thank you so much for blessing these families. You truly are ANGELS!!!

Hello! I received this in an email this morning from Diane at Community Pregnancy Center:
Oh my gosh - we're getting our Christmas in Summer packages again!! I think we've received 5 packages of cards from all over the place - how fun!! Our donors and clients love receiving all the handmade cards and I know it makes the staff smile to write them! Thank you - thank you - thank you!

You should see all these gorgeous cards! We got 3 more packages just a few minutes ago - so I think we've gotten like 8 packages so far! It's made us all smile today - we all get giddy when a package shows up!! :o)

Sorry that I don't have time this month to make baby cards, but I am pulling cards from my stash to send off. I have 38 Thank You cards and a bunch of cards that are blank and can be used for anything. Would those be okay to send? I do have envelopes for all of them also.
