Why is my thread closed?

I'm a newbie trying to learn how to share here. Opened a thread yesterday and it is closed today. Did not get any responses and it would not let me post my blog address. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

I don't know about your thread being closed, but I do know that you have to make a minimum # of posts before you can add a link to your posts (I *think* it is 3 posts)... helps stop spammers.

Welcome to Splitcoast!

This forum is the only forum where threads are auto-closed after posting. That is so that people don't engage in promotional discussion about their blogs etc. This is a forum just to announce new blogs only.

As far as posting your links - that's an anti spam device not to let people post links until they have a few posts on the site. So you'll be good in just a few more posts - and comments in the gallery count!

Please don't hesitate to ask questions - everyone is very helpful!
