Thank you so very much for your service. I'm sorry you were disabled. My son served in Iraq and we were very, very lucky that he came home ok. He was scheduled to go to Qatar, then Kuwait, but the first was canceled and only half his unit went the second time. He's in the PA Army National Guard, but he's been called up so many times in the past year, and now just spent almost a month at Annual Training (he was on the advance team) that his wife sometimes feels like he's active duty. He was one of only two generator repair operators at a base in NYC in the weeks after Hurricane Sandy. He said the conditions there were worse than Iraq.
But I'm rambling. My point with all of this was to say thank you and to let you know you're in my thoughts and prayers.
