You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Believe it or not, I've been making cards for this mission all month, but had to wait until this week to mail them. A few of my stamping buddies are CPAs and they wanted to make cards too, but had to wait until after the 15th! So last Friday night we got together and made more cards. Today I'm sending almost 50 cards to St. Baldrick's.
I'm grateful to everyone here who participated in this challenge. St. Baldrick's was an important part of my son's life and now it is an important part of my life. Avis Matsuda has been so incredibly kind to our family and it has been a real treat to combine my love of card-making with my love for St. Baldrick's Foundation. God does work in mysterious ways, doesn't he? ;)
Just looked at this challenge yesterday and am now waiting to participate in the May Challenge when it is posted....
How do I place the badge on my blog....any hints...I'm on Wordpress and it is so particular...usually have to use a code, but I don't see a HTML code for this badge....otherwise I have to use the picture of the badge and there will be no link..... ;)

hi everyone, here is a message from Avis from St, Baldricks. Thank you all so very much!
To Our New Friends at Splitcoast Stampers,
Wow! That sorta sums it up to describe our reaction to the outpouring of cards we received from our honor as Aprils charity for the Cards for a Cause program. I opened the last package this morning and the grand tally isdrumroll please578 cards! I dont know if thats a lot but to us IT ISnot just the quantity but more important, it is the time, the skilled craftsmanship and the talent it represents. Thank you all so very much for the beautiful, creative and amazing cards we received! We will steward them well to raise funds for much needed childhood cancer research or to bring smiles and encouragement to the children and their families who are fighting cancer. Please know that we appreciate each one of you for giving your heart and your hands to help make a difference in this wonderfully creative way.
It has been our privilege to be chosen as your charity for April and we humbly thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Avis Matsuda | St. Baldrick's Foundation

I also received a very nice hand written note. I think it is great when the organization acknowledges the work you did and that they received the cards. I always worry if they got there.
Thank You St. Baldricks!
Just got back from an out-of-town trip to find a hand-written note from Avis at St. Baldrick's. Just made me smile all over! So nice to know from her message that they rec'd 578 cards, and to this organization, Splitcoaststampers have made a difference. Good job!
