Scrappin' Challenge 2013

Can you believe this is our 5th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2012 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2013! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2013! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.

*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

National Scrapbook Day is this Saturday what plans does everyone have?

Happy May to all!
I am actually glad to move away from April.
Sooooo I have one new niece born two days ago. I have two nephews due in May and June. I am making 3 baby's first year albums. I will set my goal at 50 pages . I for sure have to get baby gifts done and mailed by months end!
If I'm lucky...
I will reach my May goal of 50 pages and throw in a few personal pages too.

My birthday month!
A 3 day crop retreat this month!
By the end of the month my allergies will have subsided (usually)!

I LOVE MAY!

I usually get a lot (a lot for me) of pages completed at a retreat so I'm going for a lofty goal this month....

May ~ 35 pages!

Well, I failed in April! I only got 2 done! I have 30 done of my 100. Sooo, hopefully with the help of VSBN in May, I can get 14 done in May! Hopefully that will get me back on track!

HOW can it possibly be MAY!? I have no idea, lol. But I will set a goal of 10 this month and see how it goes, haha. I still have weekly pages to catch up on, and, ya know...everything else! ;)
I did buy some 12x12 sheet protectors to get ALL of my completed pages into albums...and then found out that these refills don't fit most of the albums I own, darnit! LOL! 12x12 posts should be standard like 3 ring binders, shouldn't they? ;)
Anyway, I finally got to upload my final page for April, so I'll link it here:

I did 9 pages in April. I'm going to stick with a conservative 5 pages this month and hope for more!!

it only took me 4 months but I finally made my goal... whoo hoo!!

Please put me down for 3 again this month. I still have my pages to catch up on but at least I don't have to add to the catch-up total this month!!

Happy May to ya'll! I am getting ready to hibernate from the heat & humidity before long. Our Spring is just about over, it lasted longer this year due to cold everywhere else. Thanks for the long Spring!
I did not go to my 3 day crop last weekend due to a sinus infection/ head cold and just plain having the blahs...... but I still was able to met my goal for the month. I think I will keep my goal at 15 again this month as school will be out at the end of May and I will have grand kids during the day. Keeping them entertained takes most of my energy but it does provide photo opportunities.

I just got two pages done. They are not my design as I did them at a workshop and have just added the photos and journaling. So I didn't upload them to my gallery. Saturday, I go to another workshop where the demonstrator has designed the pages and we just put them together and put our photos on . That will be four. May is looking good!

I am working on another page for a Cricut challenge..... I really like how it is turning out but first I had trouble with my Cricut (need new blade) then my decorative stitching sewing machine is not working (been neglected way too long) so I have hit some minor delays.

Looking forward to completing lots of layouts in May! Maybe not one a day, but hopefully more than the 7 I've been averaging. Is anyone doing something fun for National Scrapbook Day this Saturday? I was able to do some scrapping this week and got a jump start to May's scrapping as well as finishing up one last layout for April.

I bought a Canon Powershot SX500 IS Digital Camera Bundle - from Costco.

Just checking in to see if there is anything fun going on for National Scrapbook day today... My group got together and had our celebration yesterday. We made Mother's Day cards, scrapped pictures of our Mothers or family and we worked on our "This and That" books.

Hello from NC! We are on our way to FL for a week at the beach and visit with family but a couple fun stops first. Photo moments not scrap moments right now.

I did sign up for the free Creative Crop at Big picture today before we planned trip. They are sending out challenge prompts . Nothing real exciting yet but inspiration is good when varied perhaps?

Hello Everyone!!! How is everyone doing today? I had a wet day at the fields but we are home now and I'm uploading photos. I finally bought a new external hard drive and am backing up some files. I have a dps going on my table and a movie playing...time to relax and play! What is everyone else working on? I haven't had time to check out challenges...do we have any here? Or, should we create our own this afternoon?

We're going to the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Lancaster, PA. They have classes for scrapping & card making plus a lot of vendors. The area also has a lot of craft shops. There are 5 of us going & we're staying at the same hotel as the convention. We look forward to it every year! :grin:

Oh, sounds fun! ESP staying at same hotel as convention so you dont have to mess with parking. Classes look fun too

My GF just sent me a text on a scrap retreat for Sept at a Spa Resort. $259 for weekend with 2 spa treatments included. Hmmm...something different

I feel like I am off to the slow start this month, I'm not but it just feels like it. Maybe I just haven't had that creative spark going on in a couple of my pages. I just saw a challenge here (SIC) that has me excited, goes great with the latest pictures I picked up yesterday from a recent trip.
