Default Sunbeam technique

Is there information (directions/tutorial) on how to do the sunbeam technique? I've only seen a couple of cards using it - it looks like sun rays beaming down...? My searches came up negative.
Thanks!

Could you link to a card using it, Dianna? Since you say only a couple of cards I'm assuming you don't mean anything like the sun-ray technique using paper piecing or sponging to create the rays.

Don't know if this is what you mean, but here is one with a pattern for the sun rays:

Oddly enough, I just came across this card, with a link to a tutorial on it:

Default Another sunbeam card and tutorial

I made a sunbeam card made using the tutorial from Operation Write Home. It was easy to follow the instructions.
