I have 2 more events to scrap and I will be caught up! I hope I can get them done this weekend. So far I have a little over 50 pages for this month. A few I do need to go back and embellish or title or journal, but they are all laid out and attached. If the pics are all laid out then I feel less pressure going back on those few pages are easy and that will be fast. Plus it is easy to do all the die cutting at once for a bunch than it is to pull it out and put away and pull it out again when you only have so much space!
I have my last page done to reach my goal for April. I snapped a photo of the layout but the sun had set and I don't like the shading I got with my camera sooo...... I will wait till morning to snap a quick picture. Early morning light on the front porch gives me the best and truest colors. Now watch, we will have a cloudy day tomorrow!!
yay i met my goal for this month! i can't share the 3rd set because it's for a DT commitment for next month but the important thing is that i made my goal this month and don't have to add to my "catching up" total. whoo hoo!!
I've visited a bit in the gallery and am back to share two more pages... I'm awfully close to my April goal, but I'm not sure I can swing any more, this week promises to be my craziest yet for 2013, lol!
I'm in limbo land lately--just got a new computer--new keyboard, new OS (Windows 7), updated Microsoft programs, new PSE version (11), no programs loaded, I feel like I'm in another dimension! Plus I've been really busy with other activities, so I'm at a challenge standstill right now. Hopefully, I can get back in the groove soon!

WOW! You took the words right out of my mouth! I've had a busy month & am in a slump that I just can't get out of. I have been trying to organize my craft corner in my spare time & I just keep making it worse! I hope the warm weather will bring my mojo back!
So now I have a problem! All the pages I did for dd HS stuff is too many to fit in the album and I still have pics from the cruise she just got home from, banquet and graduation to fit in there along with a few special pages I am trying to finish up! UGH!

I guess you're too productive! lol. Maybe you can do the cruise as a separate album? What kind of albums do you use? I finally switched over all of my albums to 3 ring b/c I can fit so much more in there. I tend to jump around from event to event when I scrap so it's also easy to insert the pages with the 3 ring albums.

Just make it a 2 album book. I have a feeling you have it broken up in events but if I'm incorrect and broken into years just do Fresh/Soph & Jr/Sr. Otherwise, I would just split down the middle & put in two albums...don't sweat the small stuff! She's going to LOVE it regardless!

I recently switched to 3 ring binders for the same reason. I do like to scrap in order for the most part. I was thinking of doing 2 albums, just separating out the band stuff, now I have to figure out how I want to do that since pretty much all events are with her colorguard/band friends! I have had to be productive tho since I didn't keep up with school stuff since she started HS and now that graduation is less than a month away I gotta get done! And I am so over it! LOL I just want to see an end in sight! I will do pages in May, but not as many cause I need to clean and do other things!
Sounds like you have everything well in hand Renee..... Going to 2 albums looks like the answer for dd's pages. I too switches to 3 ring binders, not only can you get a ton of pages in each, I don't have to worry about the 12x12 papers fitting.
Those first albums drove me nuts trying to get everything to fit properly, from adding pages to getting the true 12x12 to fit on a non 12x12 book. Did they every change those?? Are all albums true 12x12 now?
Yes, yes, yes, Lela and I did get together and we had a great time! She wound up having from 3:30 pm on free yesterday, so I took her on a little drive around parts of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Glendale. We had dinner outdoors at Westgate Mall, not far from the Cardinals Stadium (I recently posted a dps featuring the stadium). We had stopped in Old Town Scottsdale for a while and just had a relaxing, fun time! As we all know, she's a great gal and we felt like we already knew each other due to all the years in the SCS scrap threads!
Lela took more photos than I did (I was driving!), but we did manage to have our waitress take a snap of the two of us at dinner (attached.) Coming from snow in Ohio, I think Lela enjoyed eating on the restaurant patio! The evening temp. was perfect!
Can't wait to see a page or two of Lela's visit when she gets time!
OH MY GOODNESS! Wendy, I already want to be back in Arizona!
If any of you EVER get the chance to go to Phoenix be sure to make time to spend with Wendy! She was an AWESOME tour host and we just had a fantastic time.
What's so FUN is it felt like we knew each other so well. We really do have WONDERFUL, AMAZING friendships here at SCS Scrappin'. I've met so many of you over my time here thanks to my work travel and I really hope to spend time meeting more of you soon
I sincerely can't WAIT to start scrappin' my picts from this trip. I was so thankful for the 1st afternoon of extra time because the rest of the week was non-stop meetings but that's why we were there.
I'll be sure to post pages soon of my adventure!
pssst.... Wendy, The guys I work with very much appreciate you as well because I told them I would take another turn in the Fall and go out again for those meetings. I hope to be back in October

Wow, this month has flown by. I actually went to a crop so I have 22 pages laying here mostly done (a couple need embellishments) but no time to photo or put in albums. I hope to get to that soon! It was a good scrap month even though it was just one weekend, I had fun w/ the girls at the crop.
**** Did you see VSBN Weekend had to move? **** I think Wendy posted for you (thanks!). We sure can't have Mods or Hostess "on duty" during Mother's Day weekend. I hope it helps all of you as well be able to come and play

That's awesome, Lela! Be sure to set some time aside or come for the weekend prior or such and we can do some more sightseeing! I gather you and the guy in Scottsdale managed to get along OK? Hope things went well! I loved seeing you! :p
