MMTPT248 --April 30, 2013. Girls, let's help them bag the bad guys.
WELCOME TO TEAPOT TUESDAY
THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING TEAPARTY
AND CHALLENGE #248
Girls, lets help them bag the bad guys.
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
This is my story!
1. May is just around the corner, and that means its time for the May Festival in Teapottersville. May Festival is always a fun street fair with arts and crafts, free concerts and food vendors. It attracts loads of people probably more than 42,000, to be exact and is the highlight of the tourist season in Teapottersville. However, Teapottersville Police Chief Gary Copper has just gotten word from his sources that the notorious Grabbe and Runne Gang is planning to sneak into town during the festival, grabbing and running off with handbags and wallets. Rut-Roh!
2. Chief Copper has decided the best way to stop the purse snatchers is to have undercover police officers among the crowd. Since the best way to attract a purse snatcher is to carry a purse, the chief would like to use his two ace female officers, Laurie Lawfull and Ann-Marie Arrestina, as the undercover agents. However, Laurie and Ann-Marie recently cracked a big bank robbery ring in the county, and they are being honored as heroes by the State Police Officers Association the very day of the May Festival. The chief had already told the women they could attend the award ceremony, and since hes a man of his word (and he knows the good publicity would be helpful for Teapottersville), he needs to find someone else for the undercover assignment.
3. Looks like the undercover assignment to catch the Grabbe and Runne Gang is going to fall on the shoulders of a couple of new recruits to the police force, Larry Lowrank and Rob Rookie. Yup, they are going to have to dress up to look like women and attend the festival carrying handbags. Unfortunately, the police force doesnt have a stash of accessories for these guys to use in their disguises, and thats where the Teapotters come in. Rob and Larry need good-looking purses, purses that look like they might hold $42,000, the kind of handbag a purse snatcher would be tempted to snatch. Shoes and hats to complete the feminine costumes would help as well, and if we give them lots of choices, they can change their outfits and work the crowd longer during the festival, giving them a better chance to catch the bad guys.
CHALLENGE TRANSLATION : Bring purses and handbags so the Teapottersville Police can find and arrest the purse snatchers. Bring hats, shoes and other accessories for the undercover cops to wear as a disguise. But dont bring anything that looks like a Halloween costume, or youll have to come in the back door.
EPEC ~ (EXTRA POINTS FOR EXTRA COOKIES!) Throw in some jewelry and bling to help these rookie cops further disguise the fact that they are guys.

Because it knew you made two gorgeous purses .
Actually, that's weird, because I know in the forums if I try making two posts two quickly it won't let me.
What a fun challenge this week, I loved looking through the gallery at all the little purses.
I had a bunch of friends over for lunch and crafting today and this was the card that I made. It's about as garish as it could be! HERE it is.
Here's my card. Yay I made it to the tea party! Please tell me there are some chocolate cookies left. I've had a rough month. My oldest sister's husband passed away Saturday. My MIL has been moved from Assisted Living to a Nursing Home. We had to finalize her funeral plans before she went to the Nursing Home.
I know this a bit off topic, but I didn't know where else to post my question. When you upload your card to the gallery, some of you have information listed under Additional Information. In bold black print are the words Stamp: Embellishments: Cardstock:, etc. How do you get them there? I can't seem to figure it out.
Thanks for any help you can give. I will have my card posted later tonight for this great tea party.

ANSWER: Just type in when you load up your card. Under the picture when you are uploading, you go in and type your info in each box.

Hey all........... just returned from my garden tour to Indiana and Wendy2512 had sent me the most precious purse I've seen !!! So clever..........she used 2 top note dies to create the purse structure.......... The gallery picture does NOT do it justice... I love it Wendy!!! AND it's full of goodies.........
Don't know how long ago you mailed it but my hubby said it came on Saturday the 18th... all the way from BC in Canada........ Thank you so much. I can promise you I will be CASEing it regularly...... Happy Monday
