Default A true stamper?

We recently spotted a stamp we have on a blog. My 10 year old. Daughter says we should save that because we don't see cards with stamps we have very often.

Then says "Obviously, we don't have enough stamps."

So, how indoctrinated are your kids :-D

LOL! Kids always say the BEST stuff! (Usually the most true, as well) My "kids" are all grown up and on their own, so I'm a little late on the indoctrination

I'm going to have to keep up with this thread for all the healthful laughter! Kids DO say the darndest things! (oops...dating myself!)

It's a retired Stampin Up set called Stella Stamper. I pulled the sample from the gallery here on SCS. Here's the link: Stella Stamper by bdeyes9 at Splitcoaststampers

I'm a roll of ribbon away from being a hoarder. My daughter is always telling me I don't need more ribbon and for the most part she's right. If I can tell her what project I'm going to use it for she'll let me buy it but if its just pretty or I don't have some like that I can't buy it. And since I know she's right I let her stop me from buying.

I just got an extra giggle out of her comment. I notice she said, " 'we' don't have enough stamps"!

I allow her to use all of my supplies provided she looks after them but I think I might be the subject of a takeover bid here.

Nice to know she feels welcome to join me.

My 11 year-old son compliments me on my "Charcoal shading with the blending stump" on my coloured images! I have taught him a thing or two about colouring, so he can now "talk the talk" so to speak! I smile a little bit when I can tell that I have actually taught him something. (He would deny it though... lol)

He will definitely stop the art teacher in his/her tracks with a comment like that.

It is good to think we are teaching them to see beyond the financial value of something and to appreciate the time and skill.

But mostly, it is just nice to have someone at least pretend to understand our madness...

So what exactly separates a "collector" from a "hoarder"?;)

Hmm....collector is better as there is a purpose tied with collecting. All though it's a fine line when it comes to my collection

My daughter just rolls her eyes at me. Of course, she IS 17...
But she does like the finished cards.
I keep trying to keep myself from buying new stamps. I'm not very good at it. ;)

Love it!! Yeah, I would like to think I'm a stamp away from being a hoarder, but my family is convinced I'm already there! ;)
