Joining in the fun this year for HYCCT. Can't believe I never joined these challenges.
First time for me, dedicating it to my dear friend Catherine and the three young children she left behind.
Every day is a gift.
Sorry to hear about your friend Catherine Kelly, but glad you could join us this year!
anyone remember that old commercial where the woman is standing at the doors of a store going "open, open, open"?
That's how I feel about the challenges right now! Too bad I have to work tomorrow. I wish I could just stay home and stamp!
I am going to make extra dinner tonight so I can just eat leftovers tomorrow.
Loved that commercial! I have to work tomorrow too so I will be counting down the minutes until I can get home and stamp! I might be eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for dinner a lot this month so I can have more stamping time and less cooking time!
OK so tomorrow is a day about ROOTS.... I have a dentist at 8:30 and then hair at 11!!!! Can you say, "OH JOY!" yea ummm, me either... I'll be here though a drooling away on my cards!!!!!! and NOT from the HOLY WOW factor!
Night Peeps!!!! Excited to create with you all!!!!!

My desk is half tidy. My floor is beautifully tidy , that's something.
I'm not home from work till 9 Eastern so I'll miss the kick-off but I'll be along for the fun when I get home - housework can wait a little today!
I was trying to get to sleep last night, tossing & turning. I looked at the clock and saw it was 12:25 EST -- OCTOBER 1ST!! I told myself to close my eyes and count sheep but instead grabbed my husband's iPad & had to check to see if, by some crazy chance, the first challenge had posted at midnight LOL. I didn't see the master list that gave the times or I could have just gone to sleep... Excited a little????
Lydia and all hostesses - I'm going to say thanks in advance for the fun...

Hello everyone! This will be my first HYCCT and I am so excited to be able to contribute! I just got back from taking my Mom to another appointment. She survived breast cancer in 1988 and was only recently diagnosed with a recurrance in her abdomen. We will find out on Friday if there is any in her lungs. She is in excellent spirits and so happy with all the beautiful cards she has been receiving from her SCS teaparty last week!
She just turned 81 years old and I think that might give some folks HOPE!
Love and prayers for all of you dealing with or having dealt with this awful disease!
