Ack - hate that! For our bi-monthly assessments in work we have to fill on our answers on a printed spreadsheet which the boss enters into the computer. I'm paranoid about that, using a sheet of paper to make sure I've ticked the right box on the right line.

You know I have some real old thread that my mom had back from 50yrs ago, I keep them in a mason jar sitting on my quilt rack. I tied a bow with homespun fabric.

My mom hates buttons too! Not individually, but a bunch in a jar gives her the heebie jeebies.

Kitten toes? Are they attacking?

I was sure to grab my mother's button box when I closed up her house also. We had an estate sale when we sold her house. You wouldn't believe how many people asked if we had any old buttons! Hot commodity!! My husband kept trying to sell them the button box - I had to snatch it away from him.

thanks, I can always use a hug. so glad your sons are home for the holiday and that you all are cooking together. Me, I usually prefer they stay out of my way. Since we've moved our table is not so full, we'll only have 7 people so it's pretty easy. Wish the house would clean itself.

finally caught up, thought it would never happen. II'll take Verve or any thing else you've got hanging around.
now off to start the meatballs for the sauce/gravy. we've always had the Italian course on turkey day. It took me years to get to the point where I had room for turkey. I tried to skip the Italian course one year and my family went ballistic on me.
see you all after I get everything up and going.

A hedgehog, a fennec, a lemur.... I think you need to start a little zoo there . Then the cats won't need to be jealous 'cos they'll still be your indoor pets.

Morning ladies. Just stopping in really quick to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving. I'd hang around but my migraines have been acting up again. Right now I can hardly see the computer so I'm heading back to the dark ages for awhile.

Congrats to all of the newest winners!!

I was surprised when I read how popular they are in the States. When we were in Paris earlier this summer we saw a guy walking one on a harness in the park. I think maybe it was for his girlfriend - he had a red rose too, and he dusted the ferret down so well after its walk when he put it back in the carrier!

So sorry you're suffering with migraines. I only get one each month, and that one very predictable in its timing. Hope you can kick it quickly and get back to life.

I'll be back after dinner - DH has swiped the laptop to clean up an old live John Denver LP of his brother's, to burn it onto a CD for him. So I can't pop in while I'm cooking .
{{{hugs}}}, Bonnie.

And I don't have enough rum. I guess I'll have to go to the store after I get my hair cut :-/
