One more fish card idea - this would be fun with holiday papers:

You gotta come play! It's Virtual Stamp Night. The mini was last weekend...just a few challenges. But the main is coming up and it's Friday night and all day Saturday. New challenges following a special theme go up every hour. You have a time limit for each challenge....but you have 3 days to play along and upload.

It's a lot of fun - like HYCCT challenges, only packed into 2 days with a new challenge every hour. Cards are for your own use.

I did! Back when I was first married (and that was a long time ago), I decided to make all our bread from scratch. Then I expanded upon that theme and starting making everything from scratch. My mother was a scratch cook -- she never liked mixes, so this didn't seem that weird to me.

You actually use graham flour, if I remember correctly. That's what gives them that texture and "grahamy" taste LOL!

And I quit making all my own bread when I hit the 25 lb weight gain LOL!

How cool is that? I'd love to make more things from scratch, but between work and design team commitments, my time is pretty much spoken for. I'm doing good to put a home cooked meal on the table after work.

Graham Flour??? I've never even heard of such a thing. Wonder where you would buy that...

I used to have a personal "rule" about not using mixes. I would never make a cake from a mix for instance. But I've broken that rule enough times as I grew older and lazier. I hated to buy a bread machine because I thought that was "cheating" but I still won't buy a mix for the bread machine. Making bread by hand is a lot more fun though.

You know what, Holly -- I think I got it at a health food store but it was really a long time ago!! I will tell you, they were delish -- but not good enough to make all the time. I have bought many boxes of Nabisco over the years LOL!

I thought Lydia said yesterday that we were going to wrap up the prizes today... My eyelids are drooping, so I need to go sleepy-nite.

I've been on Pinterest - one can get lost there for hours and hours! So many good craft, card, recipe, etc. ideas.

oh my gosh, Val - me too! I have lost HOURS there! Sometimes I think I read more about my chosen crafts than actually practicing them.....

And I selfishly hope Lydia doesn't finish tonight ---- I HATE to see HYCCT end! It's a long road til next October...

Same here...although I still very rarely buy cake or cookie mixes. We do have a breadmaker we love! No mixes for that since it's so easy to use the actual ingredients and let the breadmaker do the work! I'm so glad hubby likes to experiment making yummy bread!!!
