Have a good night Chris & everyone if you're still on. It's only 9:23 here, time to make a card, I seem to do better late in the day. I'll see you in the morning although I'll be at work.
Thanks Lydia for a fun time tonight, as it always is.

I read somewhere in the thread that someone's dog is digging. But this thread is so active I lost the post! lol
I have two Jack Russells and they love to dig. When they start to dig we shake an empty can with some pennies in it and in a deep voice yell, "No dig".
If you can figure out why the dog is digging that would help. For us, it is not boredom; we walk them at least one mile per day and play ball with them. (we make them balance the checkbook, too) If a mouse walked over a spot in 1997 our girl Baci will dig until the last remnant of its scent is undetectable. We once had a shrew in the flowerbed adjacent to the house.Baci kept insisting we let her out. It being summer and skunk season we didn't want to go out again. The little brat went behind the couch and was scratching at the wall to get out. We relented and let them out. Phil & Baci dug a hole about a foot deep in a matter of seconds. (The shrew did not make it)

You have 2 Jack Russels! Those dogs are so active one would run me ragged, but they are cute and very smart.

Eesh, you all got chatty last night. Nearly collapsed when I saw Lois mention that it was already up to 116 pages, but she must be viewing it differently to me because I breathed again when I saw my top row said 95 of 98 ~ only 3 more pages to read before work, I can do that easily. Ha!!
Congratulations to all the lucky winners - especially the Spellbinders .
Butternut squash - DH was looking askance at it when I was roasting it, but he loved his curried squash and apple soup yesterday when he came home feeling sick after a trip to the dentist.
Washi tape - I'm in the "don't get it" camp. Had to go faux for the DTGD challenges and I expect I'll have to go faux any other time.
We used to get a library book about the Muddle-Headed Wombat, I must see if I can find it. There sure were some cute animals out for the prize-giving last night - loved the little owl in his hat .

Aawww! So Cute and fluffy! So I'm guessing it's a baby Snow Fox maybe?

Sabrina - I use to read Muddled Headed wombat to my kids when they were little. I was entertained as much as they were. One of my most precious memories was when I took my 18 mo son to a wildlife santuary on a quite day. It was basically us just wandering around. I ventured a little way ahead and turned around to see him bending down low to kiss a baby wombat thru the fence wire. Arrgghh! In three quick strides I scooped him up and away. The scene was cute but I wasn't too keen on the hygene aspect, lol.

Fran -- I'm owned by a couple of terriers also. My two Westies have a tendency to dig also. Your comments about your JRs cracked me up!! I am sure they are smart enough to balance your checkbook!!

Good morning, just checking in while I wait to eat breakfast after taking my Synthroid. I guess not everyone's pages are sychronized the same. You must have more posts per page than I do, Sabrina. Doesn't much matter though -- we have been MUCH more chatty this year than last -- or -- there are many more prizes -- or -- Lydia just likes to stretch it out longer. (Pick one, or all of the above!)

Hey ladies! I'm just about to turn into a pumpkin... I've been working on a little mixed media project with markers and acrylic paints, and waiting for the Heartfelt Creations DT Alumni hop to go live so I can check my post before I go to bed.

What an interesting and very full life yours must be! I so admire you ( and so many others on this thread!) I'm afraid I am very much spoiled to all my creature comforts, I think my adventurous gene must have mutated to a "I just want to be home doing my crafty thing" gene!

Thanks for giving us a small peek into your wonderful celebration!

Thanks - it was easy and since the tape is what I use to hold my dies down, I already had everything I needed. NOT spending more money was the best part, so maybe Pandora's box won't be so bad!

Earl Grey with milk. Noooooooooo!
Bummer, I've lost my day off tomorrow and have to work .
I gave my nephew a picture book (new copy) that I had myself when I was little, called The Diggingest Dog. I can't remember what the answer to digging was, though!
Vicki, there's a tutorial in Resources for Faux Washi tape. I used masking tape for mine, because I've never seen that Post-It tape over here.
Off to see if The Muddle Headed Wombat is still in print! Thanks for confirming it wasn't a figment of my imagination, Theresa .

I'm getting used to Earl Grey. I think it must be an acquired taste. What is that taste, anyway?

Wow - you sure do not see anything like that in the stores around here. These are really neat designs. Thanks for the heads up!

Oil of bergamot, to be precise. I quite like Lady Grey too, which is a little more citrussy and lighter. I haven't found it in leaf form, though, I guess I should try the Palais de Thé in town some time.

That's me other than our going out for breakfast everyday. We go up to one hour away. It takes up some of our time each day but,,,,,,,,,,,,I can't wait to get home and get my work done so I can PLAY!

Very discriminating palate you have, Ms Lydia, since the bergamot is a species of orange . You should have seen us in work today with some people saying something tasted of lime, some saying lemon, some saying orange and some saying grapefruit! Try and draw a usable conclusion from that .
