I can't wait to jump in tomorrow. Breast cancer has hit our family so hard, to this is so close to my heart. My sister is really fighting hard now so I will think of her every minute as we do these challenges. Thanks everyone for joining us.

My sis had breast cancer a while back and has had no signs of its return. But she developed a type of non-Hodgkins lymphoma that I can't begin to say correctly, and she is only on about a year of "cure".
looking forward to participating this year -- wanted to last year - -but circumstances arose that didn't make it possible. the days are looking better this year! so excited! my mom was a survivor -- doing this in her memory!
So blessed to be participating in this! We have 2 co-workers that are going through cancer treatment right now, and another co-workers' son has just finished.
Tomorrow it starts! Yippee!! I got half the desk top cleaned, which imediately inspried me to make a card, and now I can't see a 6" square of clear space. I can live with that! Just got to get this HYCCT ball rolling.

I am so relieved to hear that you all have desks like mine! My husband can't believe that I have covered the 10 foot counter he set up for me and have now taken over an 8 foot folding table as well...

A 10 foot counter - that would be luxury . My desk is about 6, with the computer and speakers on it too. No wonder my Wizard and paper trimmer live on the floor.

Good morning, Lydia.
Looking for something to occupy me as the rain is too heavy to step outside again now the bird feeders are topped up - are we a go with the challenges?

I'm here finally! My migraines have ruled my life this week... and, it's taken me a bit to get a handle on them this morning... but I'm here and trying to focus... so, I'm jumping in slowly now... so everyone watch out!
Woohoo! I will try to do the challenges until I have my baby on the 11th! This was SO much fun last year and meant a lot to me since so many relatives have been through MD and I live in Houston now. Plus, Oct 1 is my birthday.
Happy Birthday, Paula L. I see so many familiar faces in here. I'm getting motivated to start now. Great challenges. I knew I could depend on SCS to have something good going on for WCMD--haven't seen much elsewhere!
Could anyone tell me where I can get the cellophane plastic bag you put the cards in? I know you can put them in zip lock bags etc but I'd like to put the cards into the 'proper' type of bag.

Or if you nimbly leap from open spot to open spot, thereby getting your aerobic exercise in for the day. Win.
I have baby godzillas at the moment....teeny 'lil shih tzus. So anything at floor level is fair game. You'd be surprised how this motivates you to clean up.
