I have kind of an unusual question.

I know that I need to put each card and its envelope into a clear plastic envelope.

Are y'all sealing the plastic envelopes? Or leaving them unsealed so the people at MD Anderson can get to the actual cards more easily?

I think I sealed mine last year but I can't remember for sure. I was wondering what everyone else was doing.

Well ladies, I don't think I did that great of a job in my cleanup efforts after yesterday's frantic card-making session... I woke up with a blingy diamond stuck to me! my mom always said "rise and shine" but I guess now that I've gotten crafty I "rise and sparkle".

At least all the ink on my hands came off...phew!

That's funny!

You know the photo square adhesives - the square or rectangle ones with the protective coating that you peel off? I've found the little blue protective tabs in my bed and in my shower. All my crafting is done at the opposite end of the house from my bedroom...

I guess I misunderstood that part! Every time I sent a bunch I put them all in one plastic bag. I thought it was just to protect them on their journey! oh well...I'll do better next year!

DO any of you remember the show Bosom Buddies. I've been thinking of that show all day today for some reason.

I never watched it, but I do remember it being on TV. Wasn't that one of the first things Tom Hanks starred in?

I went to the Dollar Tree and bought 3 boxes of Christmas cards just for the envelopes, 20 envies in each, for a buck each! I brought a card with me and used it to measure and found some that fit. Now what do I do with those cards, lol!

Do you have a Staples store convenient to you? I use their invitation envelopes. They're usually about $10 for a box of 100 envelopes.

Back in the summer Staples emailed me a coupon for a whopping 75% off a box of envelopes!!! So I stocked up on them then. I just opened a new box for my HYCCT cards, and I have 5 more boxes that haven't been opened yet.

LOVED that show! I only saw it in reruns...but hysterical!!! I wish they'd put on a bunch of the cool classics on TV Land instead of crap!

Loved, loved Bosom Buddies show... I saw the original as it was on... not the reruns! I too wish it was on TV now... wonder if it will ever hit TVLand channel or whichever that one is that shows the old shows.... hmmmm

After reading all the quotes on the envelope situations, I think I'm doing my correct! Yeah for Barb! She's doing it right! Amazing for today!

Never thought of Dollar Tree cards...I normally buy the envelopes at Staples for $10.00 at 100 per box. Sometimes I get them at the $1 spot card packs at Michaels too & use the envelopes for the odd shaped cards as well as the regular ones.

I LOVED Bosom Buddies! It was the most stupid TV show ever. I'm totally surprised that Tom Hanks had a career after that series. But he did and he has become one of my all time favorite actors!

DD: Yeah
Me: Well, sometimes people get cancer in their breasts.
DD: I know that mom. EVERYONE knows THAT mom!!! rolled back eye balls....

Adorable cards! Congrats!!!

I will be packaging mine up this afternoon and shipping them out tomorrow.

FYI - Walmart invitation envies are too big for the A2 cards. They use to work but they must have changed because I recently bought some and they are too big. I got mine from Staples.

I like them more roomy now cuz my cards tend to have lots of layers and embellies!

Kids these days are a lot smarter than we think. They are like sponges, soaking up ever little thing they see on television, hear on the playground, overhear from their parents.

It's SCARY! LOL

The invitation envelopes at my Walmart are too large for a typical A2 card. I'll use them for my own use but not for cards to be given away. I either buy Stampin' Up's or get the right siz invitation envelopes from Office Max or Office Depot. They are more expensive than Staples but I don't have a Staples near me. Theirs run either around $14 a box (triangle flap) or $16 (squared off flap like SU's).
