Come on PH keep at it. go look at my gallery and case stuff LOL
LOL! Hey, I finally uploaded my card for your challenge!
The ones I still have to do are the hanging element, fight like a girl, pink collage, purple for the survivors, and two sizes of any geometric shape. I do have ideas for the fight, purple and two sizes challenges. It's just a matter of getting them done around supper and making sure the kids practice their instruments and take their showers and get ready for bed.
I also have to make my sample card for tomorrow's CAS challenge, but I'm planning to combine that with one of the HYCCT challenges.
I've done it! I finished all the cards and got my list up in the prize thread.
I am totally impressed with myself LOL. IT's tough for me to stamp on demand and October is a busy stressful month for me anyway. THen add kids, school and life to everything and phew I'm beat. But I KNOW how much these ladies and their families will enjoy this so I had to do it.

Okay I'm either losing my mind or just unorganized. Well I know I'm unorganized right now so there's a chance I'm also losing my mind!!
I have my spreadsheet and it says I have a card done for Eva's challenge, which would be my last - just uploaded the one for Edna's - but do you think I can find said card?
Not in my gallery! I have to go hunting through that tangled maze we call my hard drive.
What if I didn't make it and I just THOUGHT I did? Once Upon a Time is on tonight!! Whatever will I do????
WOO HOO! DONE! Just have to upload my last 5 cards and link everything in the other thread and I can get the last batch in the mail tomorrow morning (happy dance).
Praying SCS & my computer do not have any technical issues for the rest of the evening and tomorrow morning... LOL!!

I haven't seen either of these yet, but I would like to watch them if I can ever remember to watch them when they come on. I'm not sure I want to watch Grimm though, the previews look scary enough that I may have nightmares, LOL! I keep forgetting that Extreme home makeover has moved to Fridays. That was always my go to show for Sunday evening.
Glad to see so many finishing up the challenges today. I had planned to make a few more cards to go with my box, but I decided to just go ahead and mail them yesterday. I know starting tomorrow it is going to be hectic with work again so if I have any time I will make more cards and send them later, but at least the main ones are off and I won't forget to get that done.
Have card club things to finish up tonight and then I will go to the daily challenges.
Someone mentioned you don't get too many comments if you don't do the challenges on the day of the challenge. Maybe that is why I don't get many comments, because I'm always doing them after the fact, sometimes 2 or 3 weeks after! LOL But I still enjoy doing them and I do get one or two comments on most of them. Maybe I will try to do them on a more timely schedule from now on.
Well, I had better get back to stamping or I won't get much done tonight. I still have quite a bit to clean up too. I have decided I need to reorganize some things and put some labels on drawers etc. I recently moved everything around and now I can't find anything. Keep looking in old location and don't know where things are now. Labels, yes.
Hopefully all the links and keywords are correct - I tried to check and double check everything. Accidentally found that I had posted a few cards in the member gallery rather than HYCCT and had to go in and change it, then change the links on the corresponding challenges, but I think (hope!) I am all set.
Off to the gallery to leave a little love...
Good luck to those of your who are finishing up tonight and tomorrow - YOU CAN DO IT!!
My goodness, I didn't think my stamping desk could get so messy. I spent the morning cleaning & organizing it. I signed all my 50 cards with matching envelopes & put them in zip lock baggies & mailed them today. It's a good feeling.
Is there a specific HYCCT gallery where you can view all the cards rather than going into each individual challenge?

I'm almost done. Only four more cards to go. But I'm not sure that I'll get all 31 done, photographed and uploaded by noon (9 a.m. here in California) tomorrow. Anyone else working down to the wire?
Hi Peeps --
I'm just back from the three day scrapbooking retreat and had an absolute blast! Congrats to all who completed the challenges. But truth be told, any amount of completed cards is a wonderful contribution. I hope to keep in touch with you all in the challenge forum - I'm hooked!
On my scrapbooking front - scrapbooking is my first papercrafting love. I got into cardmaking as a way to use up my scraps LOL! Several hundreds of dollars later, I'm still using up scraps.... I did ten pages in three days but I'm happy with the results. I'm super slow - and very much a perfectionist - but I think I love the process as much as the finished project.
My 16 yr old daughter is having a heart attack because she's afraid I won't have her school years scrapbooks done by the time she graduates - in 2013!!!! I'm slow, but I bet I'll be able to get that done LOL.

I was at a three-day scrapbooking retreat, too! Mine was in beautiful San Diego in Sunny Southern California ... where the rain is pounding on my patio! LOL
I'm not only slow, I'm not artistic. It makes it very hard to create something pretty when you don't have an eye for it. And rest assured that you aren't that far behind in your scrapbooking. I am behind! I'm still working on toddler photos of my son who is 24 and I haven't even started on the baby photos of my 32-year-old.

I'm a slow scrap-booker too, but I've managed to finish the books for both my graduates (they each helped....my daughter did some of the pages, and my son did his own captioning). I have another graduating this year and my biggest hurdle with him will be getting pictures ready to go as some are trapped on dead computers...need to get hopping on that! He is (finally) getting sr pictures taken Tuesday...I've been slow on that as well. I will also have my first college graduate this year, but she's been doing some scrap booking along the way and I don't feel a need to do a book for her. I am planning on making collage art for her and several of her friends and I've been collecting paper and other elements already. Looking forward to doing those!

LOL -- Melissa, don't feel badly. The only ones around here who have baby books are my dogs! And I have a 23 year old son!
I've pretty much given up on the idea of having ALL my photos scrapped. I work on vacations because that's important to me. Someday, when I have nothing but time, maybe I'll be "caught up" ... but I'm not holding my breath.

Yep, we have to be realistic. I may never get their baby books done (my baby is 9 now and intermittently reminds me that I haven't done hers!) but they'll get graduation scrapbooks with a couple of pages of baby/toddler/preschool pictures and that will just have to do for now!

Two more cards to make. I have one other that I haven't photographed yet. All the others are uploaded, though.
OK. I'm down to one more card to make, and I've been tossing around a few ideas for it. But it's late and I really need to get to bed so I don't run the risk of waking up with QWERTY imprinted on my face.
I have 4 1/2 cards to go! Plus remaining pictures and uploading...eek!
I don't know if it's a good thing that I feel sick right now that I may actually stay home tomorrow (time to finish things up!), or a bad thing (ugh, nausea and headaches!)

I finished my cards and I think they are uploaded to the correct gallery. I hope to be awake in time have links posted before the deadline tomorrow. If not, oh well. The important thing is the creative process and the card donation. But now, I"m going to sleep.
Good morn all....I see some of you were up way after I crawled between the flannel sheets....but it's back to work I go today.....Good luck finishing up for those still trying...the ones you have so far are amazing and the folks at M D Anderson will be estatic to see all the gorgeousness coming their way.....when I checked the gallery this am there were ........3500!!!!!! OH MY.......
{Big Sigh} That is the most cards I've made in 2 weeks time since last Christmas! And I didn't even get all of them done.
I had to turn the TV off, too distracting for me in my rush to finish more cards tonight. I have 5 left to do but I'm wiped out, not to mention its after 2am here...I just uploaded what I've got and I'm off to bed. I need to get up for work in a few hours! But I had fun. and my, what a mess around here! With my mad rush over, maybe tomorrow, uh, later today, after work, I'll be able to check out the gallery, and do the laundry and the dishes, and...
Before I saw this challenge, I had only made 3 cards since last Christmas! This year has flown by! So this challenge was good for me in many ways! I am a little bummed, 5 away from the finish seems so close, but I am happy getting as many done as I have in only 2 weeks. Maybe I'll be able to start on this year's Christmas cards soon.
I'm ready for bed and the dog wants to play. Someone has had a good nap.

I have had similar thoughts, uh ill feelings!... If I wasn't 3 hours behind Central time I could just stay up the rest of the night and maybe get those last 5 done by noon, my time!
Hope you feel better soon! Craft therapy works for some ailments but I wouldn't recommend it for nausea.
Thank you to everyone who spent so much time putting together all of the challenges. This was my second year to complete all of the challenges and I enjoyed them all again this year. It's fun to occasionally be put ouside of your comfort zone, get those creative juices flowing and use all of those supplies that are neglected during the year. When I took my cards to the post office on Saturday and they asked if there were any hazardous materials in the box I told them no, only sunshine on paper. I'm sure the postal worker is still scratching his head wondering what I was talking about.
I hope to spend the next week in the HYCCT gallery looking at all of the cards I missed seeing and leaving some comments.
Just wanted to leave a little cheerleading note of encouragement for the folks rushing to finish up the challenges this morning. Keep going! YOU CAN DO IT! The folks at Andersen are going to so appreciate your cards!!

Imagine us all at the finish line of a marathon, cheering you as you get close!!!
I'm excited and happy and sad all at the same time!!
I think I might just have to give away some preliminary prizes today after the noon deadline and before they run all my reports for me for the grand prizes - does that motivate you???
I'm thrilled at the outcome of this year's challenges and card count and chitter chatter.
It seems so long ago that I was on Twitter chatting with Lydia and said "Hey if you're doing that Hope thing again can I be a hostess again?" And BAM! now it's all done and time to start holiday cards......
And I'm 25 minutes from taking two kids to school, coming home and getting showered and made up, going to interview, going to get one kid, swinging by home to pee then getting the other kid then finally calling it a day. *sigh* tired just thinking about it.
