When things first started I had a few samples I needed to make then started in earnest a few days behind. Then I started the real easy for me to decide one. It kept getting pushed off. As it is it's a small card and only has one stamp on it. Yep I just finished the circle card.

I have 11 more to do in order to complete all the challenges.

Realistically, I don't think I'm going to be able to do it.

But am I gonna try? You bet.

Well my cards have gotten simpler. I'm ok with that. Some I don't love. SOme challenges were really tough for me to meet. BUT as we say in the walk...Blisters don't need chemo. I kept pluggin along because there would be someone out there who loved the card I made.

Pat, I am in the same boat. 12 left. Realistically? Probably not. Life has gotten in the way recently. I sure will try.

Lydia (understandblue) keeps a link in her signature line that takes you to a youtube video. Here it is. The most important thing to remember is that your pictures must be the right size. I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to crop and fix mine up and it tells me what size the image is. Good luck! If I can do it you can too...I'm so not tech-gifted

The first thing that comes to mind is it was too big and didn't upload. I looked in your gallery and checked to see if it was waiting for approval and didnt' see it.

You may need to resize your pic and try again. I just open the pic in paint and resize it to 50% both directions. Takes a few clicks and then I can post them here no prob.

Ok, what is with the baggies? I put each of my cards in a plain white envelope when I sent them!!! Did I mess up? I hope I didn't do something wrong with my mailing. I remember some years ago when I sent some for the solider cards they went in individual zip locks...UGH! Sorry if I didn't follow procedure!

They want the patients to be able to look through them and pick out what they want so we were to put them into clear envelopes or baggies (and I put the regular envelope in there with them) so they could see the cards without damaging them.

24 down, 9 to go. Well, really 8.5 to go because I have one in the works, but I'm at a good stopping point with it and I think I'd better get to bed.

My problem with getting these completed earlier? I try to do too much sometimes. Much of October for me was filled with getting a shipment of cards made for Operation Write Home before their Christmas deadline.

But like Victoria said - even if *I* don't love all the cards I'm making right now, somebody there in Texas is probably going to appreciate them.

Glad to see everyone getting so far along....I did 10 cards today and that leaves me with only 4 to finish....the ones I'm having the most trouble with but can't think anymore tonight so hopefully I'll come up with a solution in my sleep. LOL!!! Then I have to find time to go check out all the awesomeness that is in the gallery...

Good Morning!! {{HUGS}} to all you wonderful, crafty friends. Just wanted to stop by to say how much I've missed ya this past week. I survived a birthday slumber party with 10 loud and happy 11 year old girls. phew!

I need to start participating in more daily challenges. I'm looking forward to Nov 11th and the VSN.. Hope to see all of you there. Not many of my friends understand my love of stamping and all things crafty, so I feel normal when I hang out here with you guys.

I didn't understand before I started doing challenges how cool it was to hang out with like minded hoarders crafters so I totally know what you mean! It's so fun.

God bless you for surviving that slumber party - that makes me twitchy!!

I'm very happy to see all of the children that have played along with us, great way of teaching not only the love of crafting, but compassion and the joy of giving as well.

Gee I'm feeling mushy today!

Good morning ladies....well I met my goal of making 50 cards, I completed every single challenge & I made a few extra. I don't think I left my stamping table yesterday because I made 11 cards. It was a so much fun & my DH understand why I was doing it.

Now, my job today is matching every card with an envelope & the box will be in the mail tomorrow.

Thanks Lydia & to all the sponsors for a wonderful challenge & your prizes.

10 girls? Wow. Kudos to you for getting through that!

I need to try to participate in the daily challenges more often, too. I like the sketch and the color combo challenges but never seem to find (or make) the time to create for them.

OK... I need to get back to work. 26 challenges completed, 7 to go. I think I've been overthinking a few of these remaining ones. Off to the drawing board...

It's not helping that my husband keeps distracting me, wanting me to go car shopping with him... (We *have* been discussing buying a new car, and now that the dealership has received some 2012 models he wants to go lookie-see.)

I feel loads better today. THe kids even slept in the extra hour! I think things were just a mix of weather change and doing WAY too much in October...a lesson I fear I'll never learn. I'm sitting down now to make that last card. I got an idea just as I was drifting off to sleep last night.

I did it!
Last card finished! It was the bee card. I actually LOVE what I ended up with.

Gonna start some apples on the stove for applesauce then take pictures. I'll upload then get the master prize thread entered then go back and post in each thread and get back to spreading gallery love.

Woo-hoo!!!

I took a break from crafting to take photos and upload them. As bad luck would have it, I wasn't happy with any of the shots I took of three of the cards.. oh well.

I went out to take pics and it's already so gray out. Not sure what they look like but first hot bath then more computer time.

The apples are simmering away with a pat of butter, cinnamon, fresh grated nutmeg and a pinch of salt. It smells incredible in here.

May not be back around much for next several days with work but want to send out a HUGE, HUMONGOUS, GINORMOUS hug to Lydia and all the hostesses who put on this wonderful month of challenges. You did a fabulous job....

I'm patting myself on the back for getting my box of cards in the mail yesterday. Sometimes I'm not good at follow through, so not only was it a challenge for me to make the cards, but also to get them mailed to MD Anderson.

This was so much fun, but I'll be glad that this week will be slower paced. I also agree with what's been said about the daily challenges. My favorites are TLC, CAS and SC. The two that are harder for me are Color and Inspiration.

As far as comments are concerned, it is really nice to get them. I know that I have not had as much time this month as I would like to leave comments. Hopefully I'll be able to work my way through the HYCCT gallery and leave comments over the next few weeks. I try (not always successfully) to look at the gallery of anyone who comments on my cards and leave a comment there, and I think other people do that too as the more comments I leave, the more I get.

I have five more cards to make in order to complete all the challenges.

So close, and yet it feels so far... LOL

I've done it! I finished all the cards and got my list up in the prize thread.

I am totally impressed with myself LOL. IT's tough for me to stamp on demand and October is a busy stressful month for me anyway. THen add kids, school and life to everything and phew I'm beat. But I KNOW how much these ladies and their families will enjoy this so I had to do it.
