Well, one can shop on Main St. at some nice little shops. Or go to the Grapevine Opry (if you like that sorta thing). Or taste local wine. Or shop in the bigger shops & eat at the chain restaurants. Go to the movies. They also have a stamp convention there once a year. Can't remember if it's January or July.

Serious....a stamp convention!!! I've never been to one, they are always so far from me....send me the info when you hear about the next one....
And I did do some shopping at the fun antique stores and such.....

Yes, Grapevine is like in the same "metroplex" as Keller. But Austin is only about 3 hours away. A play date at the hotel would have been fun. Give me a couple days notice when you're coming next time.

in fact, the last time we went, my friend asked me to help her make some simple cards so we had a card making party in the hotel lobby cuz we couldn't take our open bottles outta the area....shoulda bought the whole bottle and taken it to our room...but hey, was a fun time....
Watching the UNC vs. Virginia Tech football game now. Some of our marching band friends are down there, taking in what it's like in Tech's marching band.
I'm guessing we all have equally sweaty hands from nervousness and excitement at this point!
