today while waiting to finish up work I checked my emails and saw I was getting money from Nigeria so I almost quit right there and then. But I figured I still wanna feel like one of the people and didn't want all that money going to my head so I stayed.

Oh my GOSH - WHAT IS it with those emails?!! I am getting a TON of them lately! (at least that is what I assume they are, I delete without opening them)
How many of you have ever overworked a card? KWIM? I was making a card last night and wasn't satisfied with it, so I added another detail... Nope, that wasn't enough, so I added some ribbon... still not quite right, so out come the the buttons..... Hmmm, maybe stickles?? Emboss a layer? Emboss TWO layers????
Ok, by the time it was done, it looked like I threw up on the card.... blech.

I often underembellish in fear of 'ruining' a card.
Our organist had his back to us and after the ceremony we knelt down for prayer and he started playing the recessional. I remember looking up at the minister in panic and he just kept saying "he'll stop soon, he'll stop soon." Eventually he glanced over his shoulder to see if everyone was out and almost fell off his stool! There will always be something interesting at weddings!
One wedding I went had the pastor asking a question (I think it was if there were any objections) and a fussy little toddler sitting near us picked the perfect time to give out a whiny "Nooooooo!"

Yes and I've found they make lovely trashcan liners

crap...I thought throwing up on the card counted as an embellishment? now i don't qualify for half the challenges i've entered!

Classic!
That's a lot like one time at Mass, the priest said "Let us pray" and a little kid said, loud and clear, "I don't wanna!"
I'm amazed sometimes at all the "rejects" I generate mainly just elements that I've made then torn off in disgust! I have my share of cards I've overdone too, but I'm so fussy....I do and redo MANY times often.
Yeah, it got pulled soon after the Superbowl that year. Lindsay Lohan thought that the "milkaholic Lindsay" mentioned in the ad was referring to her and her addiction troubles.

Ohhhhh YEAH - I remember hearing about that. That Lindsay Lohan... remember what a cute kid she was? Sad.

OK, time for me to move into the living room and watch TV with DH and stay caught up here on the iPad2.
That's what I'm getting DH for Christmas. His boss gave him an iPad when they came out. He would really love the new one because a. he's a geek and b. he travels all the time and the new one is lighter.
This is a win/win because guess who get to use the old one??
