Speaking of craft fairs... has anyone ever tried to flatten glass bottles and make them into trays. They look so cool. You need a kiln, which can be problematic for me, since my house didn't come with a kiln.
I live with my grandparents...and my mom...they're all really a riot here. Today we're sitting at the dinner table talking about sewing machines. My grandmother has dementia...she has good and bad days. Today was a good day...so we're sitting at the table and my mom say's she doesn't want a Brother because she thinks they suck...whatever. Grandma chimes in...no worries...you won't have any more brothers. Grandpa says "well it's not my fault"...lol...never a dull moment in this house.
Right? I need chocolate AND a kiln. Turns out my house didn't come with a kiln either - and I didn't even know to ask for one!!!
Reminds me of when dh and I bought our first house. When we moved in, we quickly realized there were NO electrical outlets on the second floor (old house)! The previous owners must have used extension cords all coming from the ONE outlet. They must have unplugged them when they were showing the house. The house inspector we hired neglected to mention to us that we would need lots of flashlights LOL!
haha!! First house woes. We have a few ourself, including and "English" basement, which around here means 'dirt'.

You're granparent conversations kinda remind me of the really sincere conversations I over hear between my kids LOL

OMG - no outlets? Yikes!
My parents like to hide "those ugly things" by putting furniture in front of them whenever possible... which makes for some interesting times trying to plug in cell phone chargers, curling irons, etc. when we visit.

I might be too tired to funtion here tonight. I want Dh to go get dinner. You think he'd do that? You think he feels at all guilty that I came home from work and unloaded, loaded and ran the dishwasher? Yeah I didn't think so either
