I loved that book!! My daughter is trying to get me to read The Hunger Games - actually, several of my friends have read the series and loved it.

My book club is reading The Art of Racing in the Rain this month. Last month, we read The Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet - we all enjoyed that one.

@CraftyMathChick..
I checked out that paper.. not really my style. Interestingly enough, I'm not much of a pink girl... I had to go out and get some pink paper for the HYCCT challenges. LOL!

Hi Lydia -- love that Tigger!

Lee -- those little chocolate boxes are adorable!!!

Do any of you make pilgrim hats for Thanksgiving? My dd and I make a huge tray of them each year. You take a marshmallow, dip it in melted chocolate and plop on top of a fudge stripe cookie. They are soooooo good!

ROFL! Overall, I don't use much pink either, especially the really bright pinks. I think I still have two of the three sheets of Pixie Pink that came in the Bold Brights assorted package I ordered when SU revamped the colors in 2005!

Have you seen the trailer, it came out yesterday. So happy that it doesn't look like it will be cheesy.

Oh, I eat them --- one for the craft, one for me, one for the craft, one for me and one hidden for later.... that's how it goes in my stamp room.

There is a young adult book my kids and I enjoyed together called 'The Giver'. It's an odd story...but very well written...sort of mild sci-fi.

I thought I would take a break from craft fair crafting and say HI...I'm in the home stretch and will be a crazy crafter for the next few days. Love those boxes Lee. I'm working on canning jar luminaries tonight...not turning out the way I pictured...but cute nonetheless.

Hiya, Lisa.

Speaking of craft fairs... has anyone ever tried to flatten glass bottles and make them into trays. They look so cool. You need a kiln, which can be problematic for me, since my house didn't come with a kiln.

Right? I need chocolate AND a kiln. Turns out my house didn't come with a kiln either - and I didn't even know to ask for one!!!

Reminds me of when dh and I bought our first house. When we moved in, we quickly realized there were NO electrical outlets on the second floor (old house)! The previous owners must have used extension cords all coming from the ONE outlet. They must have unplugged them when they were showing the house. The house inspector we hired neglected to mention to us that we would need lots of flashlights LOL!
