I love the new cases for wood mount . I love the ideas to use it for other supplies as well. I have been putting together my craft room and the wood sets that I have are stressing me as they do not stack , fit ,or look as good on the shelves . Not to mention the fact that they come open at the worst time all on their own. I know that I am not the only one who wants matching stuff on my shelves. At least I hope I am not the only one. Please tell me I am not crazy. OH well if I am I can live with it. I like pretty and matching things.
But I want them now... Can't wait for new catalog. I wish they were avalible for pre order.
I know that SU! is offering the new cases in different sizes, but does anyone know if there will be a size that matches the clear mount dvd cases? (5x7)?

They are the same size as the cling mount dvd type cases. They are just thicker/deeper. They give the measurements as 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 as small and 7 1/2 x 5 1/2 for the large. It does not say how deep but in the video it shows that you can put other supplies such as reinkers and new style punches in them.
They sell in sets of four small $4.95 and large $6.95.
I wonder if that is going to make the price of wood mount sets go up.... but I see I need a new storage unit to hold all the new boxes I am going to want. ;)
I was just beginning to think I was going to have to buy some small storage boxes at Michael's... Phew! I have a bunch of collections of solo stamps that I like to keep together (like all easter, all dogs, etc) and they have been hanging out in ziplocks, which I have discovered can knock off the stamp from another block. Yay!

I didn't think it was bad but I will wait and see what the SU price is before I place an order with either company.
For the Stampin' Up! boxes available May 31: A pack of four half-size cases (3-3/4" x 5-1/2") will sell for $4.95 and a pack of four full-size cases (7-1/2" x 5-1/2") will be $6.95. There will also be a template so you can create your own covers if you plan to switch over old sets or use for other storage purposes (like reinkers!).

Thanks for the link! I noticed they also sell the clear VHS cases with sleeves then have the PDF insert template up on their site. These seems like a cheaper alternative.
yes all the wood mount stamps will come in the new boxes at the end of this month. The sets I got during pre-order are in these boxes and I LOVE them!!
No, these cases are not exactly the same as the new SU! cases. The SU! ones have the seam in the center of the case and appear to have a bit of a different locking method than the ones on this site.
Not sure of the thickness of the plastic for the ones on this site (may be more pliable like the old VHS cases of my memory) but the SU! is made of the same plastic as the DVD cases and seem to be very sturdy and top quality.
