Recently I became very interested in coloring so I bought a set of Prismacolor Colored Pencils and I cant begin to tell you the fun, relaxing time Ive had just practicing. Then I became interested in finding a stamp character (thats the only terminology I could come up with) for my card designs that would be fun to color. So I went looking in the SCS Gallery and at various companies online. What a selection! And Im sure I didnt see all thats out there.
So I got to wondering, whats your favorite character to color?
I thought it would be fun if everyone answering would provide a name and link to the character so we all could see what your favorite(s) looks like. Since I know I havent seen them all, there could be new discoveries here for us all.
there are more of them, this is just some I had in the gallery to give you the idea. the size is really nice and open for copic coloring.
I used to do pencils too and that just takes a little longer to get the layers on a bigger image.
I love coloring Saturated Canary images and any of my images from Stamping Bella. Oh and also LOTV images.
Can you give the links to these please? Many of us may not be familiar with Saturated Canary or LOTV and really want to see all the characters available.

Agreed! Love to color these with Prisma pencils and gamsol!
I love anything in the Pure Innocence line by My Favorite Things. That little girl is just so darn cute, and she does so many things. I use these stamps again and again.
I love the Swiss Pixies and Sugar Plums designs from CC Designs. Also like what MelJen has to offer. These are my favs right now, but I'm sure I could be swayed to find others! ;)
I love colouring these cute animals: Chubby Chums
I love colouring anything else that she draws as well. Just that this was my first stamp set from her and the most versatile. I did cut off a few paws and the cow's hoof, so I could reposition them and make the characters hold cupcakes, balloons, tools, etc.

I recently got this set, and I love it, too. And, what a good idea to have them hold things!

Stamping Bella - for Uptown Girls, Mo Manning, Diane Duda and more.
SCACD Stamps - there are some adorable characters by Elisabeth Bell, Sylvia Zet (of Wee Stamps) and beautiful girls by Carmen Medlin. Check out the Susana Loves Stamps section too for some fab girl character stamps and fun monsters.
I love anything Mo Manning creates
Magnolia stamps.
Penny Black mice, hedgehogs, cows, chickens etc.
Any Elizabeth Bell designs.
Unity Stamps.
LOTV
Totally Gorjuss and I think I have just fallen in love with Wee Stamps, and this is to name but a few.
Sorry no links, too hard when I should be going to bed.
Cheers
I couldn't possibly narrow it down to just one, but I do love tilda & edwin, the cc designs characters, the gorjuss girls and the miss anyas.
There are loads of others from digi images, altho tiddly ink are now doing stamps I believe, along with kraftin kimmie and I love some of the octopode images, but not treated myself as yet.

For me I find that it is sometimes just a certain image that is just easy to color. I know that's weird. But some of my favortie images are from 100 Proof Press (lots of stamps that are 'artsy'), Magnolia, and Sweet Pea. If you like fairy images or goth style, visit Sweet Pea. I have several of their images and they are generally easy to color. The first one I had, I won from a contest. It is a beautiful mermaid, fabulous to color. After that I was hooked.
I love any of the images by Mo Manning (from Penny Black, Stamping Bella or digi's from Mo's Digital Pencil) The expressions on the faces and the details in her images just make me smile. I also have fun with the silly images from Hambo.
Great topic! It is really interesting to read what other cardmakers love to colour. I love the Penny Black dogs and most of the dog cards I make go to male family members. I love to either stamp the dog in brown or black ink depending on the look I want. Here are some of my favourite PB dog cards from my Gallery:
When I looked through my Gallery, I didn't actually realise how many PB dog cards I have made! There are lots more than what I have listed above. I really love the PB cats too and pretty much any snowman image. There are some stamps that I don't enjoy colouring at all such as House Mouse or the Gruffies. About 18 mths ago I did some commission work using those stamps and it was such a chore and boy was I glad when it was all over!

Jocelyn, just took a stroll through your lovely gallery. Your cards are all just works of art! I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. I loved them all, dogs, bears, and everything else. And I am in awe of the detailed descriptions you take the time to provide.

I love to color any Whipper Snapper images, especially snowmen, Halloween, Easter and Valentine images. Home page
I'm enjoying seeing new & fun lines that I am not familiar with. I checked this one out and was very impressed with their images until I saw they are NOT an angel company in any way, shape or form. I think this is the first company in about 30-40 where sales are absolutely NOT allowed.

Ohh, that's so sweet of you Bugga - your comments really made my day
