I'm actually working on a few things in dribs and drabs......but calling them Baby Steps sounds so much better!!!!
I worked on...wait what did I work on so far today...oh right, I changed my organizing system for my nesties. The only real problem with neglecting my house for a couple of days is that my area rugs start looking like they are growing hair from the amount our dog sheds. Other than that I need to put away some laundry or make my kids put it away, but I am being lazy today.

Oh one of my fellow Gina K. designers showed us how she organized her Nesties! I will be converting! She uses recipe boxes (she said they're in the dollar section at Mike's) and then 4x6 sheets of magnet (at JoAnn's). And then just stood upright like recipe cards!

Oooh...great idea! So, you can use the tabs to label the name of the nestie?

That sounds like a good idea. I need to do something with mine.

I don't.....she just said they're sold in packages. I don't live anywhere near a Mike's....but hopefully I'll get up to Denver with hubby soon and I'll get to look for them!!!
I had mine on magnetic sheets in a box with dividers that actually held all my dies, but then I went to a thrift shop the other day, looking for a bulletin board for on of DD's rooms that that wouldn't cost me as much as a new one, well I found one and then I found a daytimer/dayrunner/whatever organizer thing that had half sheet size page protecters in it for a couple of bucks and so I picked it up. Now I can fit 4 sets of nesties per protector with some cut down cereal boxes for a little extra sturdiness and its much easier for me to flip through them.

Great idea. We don't have JoAnn's in Canada so I'll have to look elsewhere. Oh wait, I'm heading to the U.S. next week... maybe I'll stumble upon a JoAnn's.

you can use magnetic vent covers found at hardware stores. Easy to cut to the right size
and for the day I get some nesties and all of the other fun cutting dies, this is going to be a great tip!
I am asking for a Big Shot for Christmas, so hopefully I can start collecting some of the fancy die cutting things then.
well...gotta go tighten fence (while we have this nice weather!) so the llamas don't decide to visit the neighbors! Lee, blow that horn loud and clear when I win the BIG PRIZE!!
and yes, I am so far behind the times than the rest of y'all when it comes to fun gadgets. 2 sons in college will do that to ya! the 3rd goes the year after next..... oh my!
Hey all. FYI Oriental Trading Company has magnet sheets that come like 10 sheets to a pack and are sticky on one side, they work great for nesties. I have a few magnet sheets on the inside doors of my cabinet and stick all the nesties up there. They have stayed on great.
They are so weird they actually set up a flat box on a slant and were scooping up a battery (where they found it I have no idea) in a plastic cup and tossing it to roll down the box.
