<---can no longer hear the word "muffin" and NOT think of Betty White
*snort*
I was actually watching TV during the day today, and settled on GSN during "Match Game 75". Betty White was on there. It's hard to believe that was taped 35 years ago...
hearing about snow and freezing temps...used to live in austin...LOVED the winters there (except the occasional ice storm)...now live in South Carolina and about died this weekend because it dropped to 30...seriously??? 30...in NOVEMBER??? that means I can't leave the house!! thankfully hubby is from indiana and is made of (slightly) sterner stuff than I (weather related at least) and he can go stock up on bread and milk when the winter panic sets in on the locals!
Yes, actually I've been quilting for 30yrs. I've been making & selling my quilted tote bags/purses this past year. Every time someone has a baby at work, they get a new baby quilt.
I made my youngest a quilt with some of his baby sleepers in it. It's such a mishmosh of fabrics that it didnt' turn out square in the least but he loves it lol
And to all a good night and remember when we said - don't let the bed bugs bite - HA, now that's a novel thought these days. Keep warm and dry - tomorrow is a new day - make someone happy - send a homemade card to someone you love just for the fun of it.

Oh word Match Game was DIRTY! Things that even make me blush lol
I met my husband at the bowling lanes, he used to manage bowling centers in San Diego then we got transferred to Phoenix and again to Colorado. That's what part of my SCS name is stamp300 because of my high game is a 300 and I love to stamp.
Baha! Girlie - I was born in Buffalo and college in Rochester. There's a reason I'm in Austin!!! #lakeeffect #nothankyou #beentheredonethat
No kidding... U of Rochester, or RIT? When I was in college I dated a guy who went to RIT. (Long distance relationship) I've seen the Knipple of Knowledge!
(Boy, that's an interesting one to take out of context... LOL!)
Wow. I've been lurking here in the shadows LMAO at your chat, only to discover that I've won Clint Eastwood!!!!! Whoopie - how lucky can a gal get? Could you just retro my prize about 30-35 years, or maybe, does he have a son I could exchange for? If not, your goodie prize suits me just fine!!! This whole experience has been so much fun. I'm just glad to have been able to contribute to this great challenge! What a great group. I'll be back.

I think it's time for me to call it a night. I'm glad to have had the chance to create cards for a wonderful cause, I've enjoyed seeing so many challenge cards while cruising the gallery and during my moderator shift, and I'm excited to have won one of the prizes.
Congratulations to all the prize winners, and good luck to the people in the running for the grand prizes!
OMG....OMG....OMG.....I just got home from work and read through all 12 pages of chatter....Durn work, it gets in the way of all the best fun.....and so excited I actually won a prize....I NEVER win anything....How fun....congrats to all the winners.....it's been such a wonderful month of challenges....
I see my name on a winner's list! Wahoo! I'll be emailing Lydia! I'm off tomorrow so I'll check the thread - someone asked if you already won if you still had a chance at a grand prize and I don't remember seeing an answer to that question....
Thanks to all who worked so hard on setting up all of the challenges and to all that participated!
I just got home from work and started to read thru this thread (so many pages to catch up on, LOL), then I see my name picked as a winner for a stamp set and die! Woohoo!! Seeing my name made me jump in my chair. I'mmoff to see what the prize might look like.
Thanks Lydia and SCS and Taylored Expression for doing the HOPE cahllenges. It was great.

Oh my goodness. The party was just getting going last night when it was time for me to turn the lights out, and I've read through 9 pages of fun and have tears in my eyes.
Why couldn't your clocks have stayed put for another week, and then at least I'd have had an extra hour with you all . Now I have to sober up or the optician will think I have an eye problem.
Congratulations to all the winners and all the players, thanks to the sponsors and kudos to Lydia for pulling it all together and putting so much into making it a great event.

Oh - and thanks for that recipe for the muffins, I'll be trying those out for sure! We don't get tinned pumpkin here but thanks to a lovely RAK I have some - and the pie spice too.
And I was so happy to see Ksnurse was a winner - she was so sweet and sent me some Glimmermist after seeing that that was the only challenge that I was *materially* challenged by.
