How many challenges are there in "Hope You can Cling To"?
Sorry for such a simple question, but each time I start to count the number of challenges I get distracted. This is a wonderful, but emotional, cause. My Dad died from lung cancer and Mom had cervical cancer. Two cousins have had breast cancer.
Thanks,
Ellen

Big hugs Ellen!!!! Thank you for being here.
There have been 15 challenges so far and there will be 33 total by October 31 - 3 on the first day and one each day after that.
There's a tracking sheet posted in this forum that makes it a little easier - for me anyway
Raise your paw if you're caught up through the 14th!!
I can't believe it....I am done to the 15th!! I mailed last weeks package on Saturday and will mail this weeks package tomorrow. I figure that I will mail my weekly cards every Saturday. It has really been a lot of fun to do. And for such a worthy cause.

I'm struggling to keep up - 9 done and all packed into their clear envelopes and a jiffy envelope. But since I only aim on doing one mailing as the most economical international option, I hope to catch up next week when I have a couple of days off . Can someone supply a couple of extra hours a day, pretty please?
I mailed my 9 today with envelopes and already sent 2 brings a total of 11 cards. I'm working on the 4 I missed last week and those plus the weekends will be mailed on Monday.
Love this, I'm showing everyone at work all my cards.
Lydia, that cat is so cute. LOL. I am enjoying doing the challenges. From the looks of the gallery.....so are many others. I am proud to be part of SCS.
I just mailed my first batch today! It made me feel soooooooo good!! In fact, this morning I even made a post on my blog about some interesting facts that I found about UT MD Anderson Cancer Center.
These challenges have been so wonderful. I just lost a dear, dear friend and fellow teacher last Friday to colon cancer. She was only 47. I can't even begin to explain how therapeutic the challenges have been for me. Tough at times, but very helpful when I can focus on making someone else smile instead of wallowing in sadness.
Thanks SCS for combining efforts to give cancer patients the "Hope THEY Can Cling To!"

Woo hoo, I got a whole 5 cards made today, so I am catching up. I opted for housework-lite - don't tell anybody. I'll have to play catch-up on that as well as a couple more cards tomorrow.
I have 18 of 18 done! I'm editing and resizing right now! But me thinks I need to clean before I go much further, DH said "it looks like a craft store upchucked in here"

WTG, Patty!!! I got caught up tonight with all of them but today's! I feel so much better to have them all done. Now, to try to think "vintage"....LOL
Y'all rock!! I'm a couple behind again as have to work 12-14 hrs daily through today. But I have them planned and will get caught up on days off....I'm mailing all at end of month in 1 pkg..partly cuz I'm to lazy to get to PO but also my reg card buddy is out of country and really wants to see them before mailing...
Tallied up the cards in the HYCCT gallery and it's over 1,000 already and only just over half a month WHOOOHOOO!!! A few have been earmarked to go elsewhere but that is still a fabby lot of cards heading to Texas....MD Anderson will be blanketed in pink...

I'm something like half way through but I fully plan on doing them all in time (Nov 4th right?). Hoping to get several done on Thursday and of course this weekend
