I was hoping to do these todays, but no such luck, I was lucky to manage to make 2 cards, what with my kiddos coming over every 5 minutes and distracting me. It took me four hours and 3 tries to finish a single card....very irritating.

My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance.
I asked this question earlier, but I think it must have gotten lost in the shuffle.
I have a question -- Each of the challenge explanation posts list three links: one for that particular challenge, one for the Hope You Can Cling To gallery, and one for the Master Challenge thread. How does a card get into the Hope You Can Cling To gallery? Is there a keyword for that gallery as well as the individual challenge galleries? I would think that all the cards entered in each of the challenges would wind up in the Hope You Can Cling To gallery, but that appears not to be the case.
Looking forward to joining in on a swag of fun challenges this month ladies... enjoy the variety of the challenges and the great cause... nothing like a global card drive!!!

I found out about the gallery problem when I tried to upload a Featured Stamper card. It was working when I decided which card I would CASE; but, by the time I finished my card, it was down. I'll check back after church.
Lydia, I know you are dealing w gallery problems this morning, but wanted to see if you could answer a question Lois had asked. There seems to be a disconnect w uploading into different galleries. I uploaded to the Brown and Pink thread but the card doesn't show up in the Hope gallery. Do we need to do something different or should all the challenge cards automatically go into the Hope gallery? Just let us know when you have a minute. Thanks.

Oh sorry - I answered this in the other thread. Please when uploading, upload into the Hope gallery - not your member gallery - it's at the top of the dropdown when you go to upload.
Do this and use the correct keyword and you're all set

Absolutely! Click on your card in the gallery, then click Edit photo and you'll see a dropdown for where you'd like to move it - just click the Hope gallery and you're good to go.

Thanks for answering this question. As it turns out, when I read Joan's post for today's challenge, I saw where I had made my mistake. So I went back and edited my cards and loaded them to the right gallery. I now have red Xs on my photos, but I know that will clear itself up eventually.

And hello! It's so great to see you in here!
Thanks so much. This is a good day. I have Chemo on Wed. and that will slow me down. But I am going to do as many as possible.

I think this is great. I am a survivor and also am getting ready to do the 3 day 60 mile walker leave on the 14th. Hope to be able to join in the fun. Thank you for doing this.

What a cool challenge. We had a very dear friend who, as a young single woman, stayed with us quite a lot during her treatment for breast cancer, before she went on to marry. Sadly she died from secondary cancer leaving two beautiful young girls. I will most definitely be playing along with as many of these challenges as I can.
I posted a card for the Lingerie challange, and named it Believe to be Seen, I think. Now I can't find it. Has it been removed, or could there be a complication from the problem earlier this morning? Just curious.
Hi there. I remember seeing some of your cards come through the gallery approval queue Saturday.
Gallery moderators have Sundays off, so the card you uploaded today is still waiting to be approved. It'll show up tomorrow once one of the mods comes on in the morning.
Thank you. I sent in two yesterday, but the second one I couldn't find tonight. It wasn't a very good one, I know, but this challenge was difficult for me, since ribbons and lace are not my style, hence I have very little to work with. I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow. It's nothing major, I'll still mail the card in. By the way, it is still in my gallery.
Love this cause! I lost a close friend many years ago to breast cancer, who was only is her late 30's. She left behind 3 young daughters. Thanks God, I haven't had any family member die to this horrible desease. But, I do miss my friend very much. I feel for those who have lost someone to this type of cancer or any other kind of cancer.
This is my entry to the challenge HYCCT02A for the pink holiday card. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=105902
Smiling...

Reason: wrong link
The only thing you need to do is move it to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery. Click the photo in your gallery, then click Edit Photo, and change the category to Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Gallery instead of your member gallery. Everything else is correct and your card is lovely!!

Thank you! But I edited the photo by changing the category to the Hope You Can Cling Challenge gallery and still, I can't see the photo in the gallery...? I do see my other card for one of the other challenges, but not this one for the pink holiday HYCCT02A challenge. Thanks

Can't wait to start these challenges but work is getting in the way! I won't be able to start until tomorrow night so I will have lots of catching up to do. Darn, I'll have to spend extra time in my craft room Looking forward to seeing everyone's creations.

To craft or not to craft? I don't understand the question!
Can I just say a huge "THANK YOU!" to all you ladies... my mom was treated at MD Anderson (wasn't breast cancer but she did have several cancerous organs removed there) and they literally saved her life. Also, the hospital is AMAZING to the families there... craft activities, good food, caring staff... it's a great place and this is a great idea! I can't wait to get home to make some PINK cards!
This is such a great cause! I know almost everyone has been touched by one form of cancer or another. I lost a dear cousin, 2 yrs older than me and my MIL to breast cancer. One grandmother to liver cancer and one grandfather to lung cancer. Last year, I lost an uncle to lung cancer. My DD was treated at MD Anderson over the last 2 yrs for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It's an evil disease, in any form. And I pray its days are numbered!
Just wanted to let someone know my cards are all clear enveloped, bagged, and the envelope is all addressed to mail off my cards in. I've got the pictures downloaded and will be uploading them to my gallery later today. It's been fun making these cards and I like to mail things off in a timely manner. If I don't get to the post office today I will tomorrow. Thanks mods for some really fun challenges! Does the lady in Houston let us know when the cards arrive or do we just trust that they do?
