Memories and Beyond in Downers Grove closing

For those of you who know Alice and her wonderful staff at Memories and Beyond in Downers Grove Il she is closing the store March fifteenth. Her loyal customers will really miss this great store. We have great memories of her store and all the fun times we have spent there. We truly will miss her the staff and of course her fabulous store.... ~~ Carol

Oh man! That was my favorite place to stop for holiday shopping when I went home! Sorry to hear that its closing!

I personally know 3 people who have tried to talk to Alice to purchase her store, inventory and all. She has not gotten back to any of them. They've stopped by the store, left messages, sent her emails. no contact what so ever. What a shame since her emails to us say that she would like to sell the store.

I was in the store yesterday and they are still getting new merchendice.

She must of sold it because I've been to this store several times in the past two years. I was very sad though to find out that Stampology closed last summer. :*(

She did sell it. The new (not so new now) owner has been keeping pretty current with merchandise. This is a very old thread. Maybe we can get a mod to close it.
