CAS214 Technique Challenge (3/31/13)
Thank you again to everyone who participated in the Design Team Search! There were so many fabulous entries, it was really hard to choose!
***********************************************
Please keep the CAS challenges limited to cards only.
Thank you!
***********************************************
What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for
Clean and Simple.
It's all about the
design .
* not the technique
* not the tools
* not the embellishments
It's all about the
design .
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
It's all about the
design .
Clean & Simple
*********************************************
~~~CAS WEEKLY CHALLENGE~~~
CAS214
Technique Challenge
Chalkboard technique
Here are a few tutorials I found:
Chalkboard technique from Beate Johns
Technique from catherinestamps on YouTube
KEYWORD: CAS214
It's also great to add the keyword: CAS so that you're in two galleries.
Please help me to welcome our brand spankin' new SPRING DESIGN TEAM by leaving them some love for their beautiful samples!
Spring Design Team
mepylant - Melina
simplybeautiful - Ceal
SeattleStamper - Sarah
TAMRA BEATON - Tamra
Coordinator
Resqbarbie - Denise
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration, showcase the CAS style and to get us stamping!
Wow, what a great new team that's assembled to inspire us. Love the chalkboard technique, too. Hope to be back soon with something.
Fun challenge, Denise. It is not a technique I use often....have to be so careful embossing on a dark bg not to get those pesky light flecks. : )
Congrats to the new design team and guest designers. Looking forward to the fun challenges for the next 3 months or so.
I was able to combine today's chalkboard technique with Friday's QFTD challenge.
