It's that time..time for another AWESOME Mix-Ability Challenge!!! These challenges are meant to be as easy or difficult, as fun and challenging, and as ROCKING as YOU want them to be!
This week the challenge is take any medium (watercolor, ink, spray ink, etc.), water it down, take a brush (or other tool), and SPLAT!
Ideas/Tips
1. For a whole lotta splatter, use a stipple brush, load it up with watered down watercolor, and tap it across your project.
2. For a little splatter, use a fine paint brush in the same method as above!
3. Use the nozzle of your spray inks & tap it across your project.
4. If you desire more control, use a spray ink!
5. For the more adventurous, load a straw up with your watercolor and blow it across your project! Double cool points if you try this one ;)
6. Mix re-inker/spray mist ink with soap and water, blow blubbles, and splat the bubbles with your project surface! (triple cool points for this!)
7. Use Gesso for white splatter!
8. Use Watermark Ink splatter then heat emboss!
9. Use Acrylic Paint!
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!

I am so disappointed to be away from home today with nothing with me other than coloured pencils. But if a snag a quick visit home tomorrow I might be able to pick something up. This is something I could certainly do with practice in to get a good look.
Thanks for such a fun challenge -whenever I get to play along.
How AWESOME is this.... I have had this card completed for a few weeks, just figured it was too macabre for the gallery, but shoot... Here it is! CAS Fridays stamps and Purely Pom refill ink.
It's a birthday card for a co worker who is big into Walking Dead! ;) He's also our Firearms instructor!

O-oh if your pencils are watercolor sometimes you can shave bits of pencil color off the ends (like sharpening but not the wood)
The small dots of color can be picked up with a wet paint brush a flicked across your paper. ...just a thought if you want to get started :-)
Great great challenge!! I used it as an excuse to play with lots of new toys - masks, ink sprays, and of course paint! This is bold, but I think I like it! Thanks for another fun one!
This was so much fun!! I know I say that every week but this one made me giggle out loud!
I have completed several cards with flicks of ink and paint recently so I kept experimenting with different combinations until I came up with something new for me. Stain dabbers have risen to a new level of fun now that I can splatter with them.
