Hi everyone! So, I guess the fever that I had over the weekend when I drew up the sketch fried my brain a bit because I meant to draw it up as a rectangle even though my sample is a square. However, I did not realize it until I was finished and really could not bear go back and do it all over again lol. Please feel free to use the sketch as an A2 as opposed to a square. I know that many of you out there prefer the rectangular base anyway, so I guess this week we all win out . I sure hope you can play along as I really love seeing what you all come up with for the sketches each week!
Wow, I wondered if there was a challenge today. Thanks, Janette for posting one cool sketch. Unfortunately, I have an appointment and will have to wait until I get home. Have a good one!

Well, I get to think about this while at physical therapy today. I will have to see if I can come up with something. No texture though, still can't use cb without being in pain. cutting on the paper cutter isn't easy either, but I will see if perhaps I have some scraps that might work for this challenge. I can't wait til my arm is better so I can create the way I want to.

Your card is very pretty, I really like the color combo and the 'generational' stamping. I'm new to card making and would love to learn that technique, well any stamping techniques!

Welcome to Splitcoast Stampers! You have come to the right place to learn techniques. There is so much information available from the friendly folks here and in the Tutorials / Resource section at the top of the screen. I hope you enjoy looking at the gallery to see what others have done, and I look forward to seeing your art.
Why can't I see any of the cards (including mine) in the gallery for this sketch? I was sure I could see them this morning but now all I see is one from back in January.
I am also having trouble viewing the other cards for this sketch challenge. I know they were there this morning. Now there is one from SC417 and mine that I posted earlier this afternoon.

Janette- great sketch! I moved my band of ribbon towards the bottom of the card- as the 2 little girls deserved the center spot! Here's Friends Forever

What a great sketch this week. It has me itching to be in the stamp room, but I'm still not 'stairs cleared'!
My therapy, although hard, is going well and I've graduated from a walker to a cane! Now that's progress and I feel much more mobile. My knee is also almost back to it's normal size!
Thank you all for the pretty cards and the thoughts and prayers. They are much apperciated.
Hugs to you all....

Here's MY CARD (with a slight booboo on the scalloped strip...should have gone OVER the one panel instead of under it). :-(
